I made a reservation in advance through the official website. The fee includes towel and locker use. The exterior has a modern and stylish atmosphere. The facility is divided into a restaurant and sauna area. I thought there were only two saunas, but on the day I visited, they also had a private sauna available, so I was able to use a total of four. Instead of a cold bath, I jumped into the Baltic Sea, which is an experience you don't often get in Japan, and it was really fun. I'd never been to a proper sauna before, so I thought I could stay for two hours, but when I actually went, the two hours flew by and I wished I'd stayed longer. After leaving the sauna, I went to Löyly Helsinki for dinner. I tried to enter the restaurant, but it was fully booked. They told me to sit wherever I wanted at the bar and order at the counter, so I ended up having a hamburger from the bar menu. So, if you'd like to eat at the restaurant, I recommend making a reservation for the sauna as well. The hamburger I ordered was absolutely delicious! The accompanying fries were quite salty (though other Nordic places tend to be quite salty as well), but the portion was huge. It was amazing! 🥰 Although I admit, the space is indeed small, and you have to be very careful turning around with two people inside… 😅 But! It’s clean! Comfortable! The experience is top-notch! 💯 We bought our tickets on the VR app, super convenient, and chose a sleeper with a private bathroom on the second floor! 🛌 The big suitcase couldn’t be opened, so we packed toiletries and such in a small backpack. 🧳 What surprised me the most was the bathroom! 🚽 Pull the curtain, and it instantly turns into a shower! My wife and I even took a shower on the train, which felt so amazing! 🛁 The best part was my partner, the super light sleeper “Pea Princess” 👸 She actually slept through the night until morning and said she slept really well! 😴 In the morning, we went to the dining car for breakfast, watching the snowy scenery slowly pass by outside… ❄️ At that moment, I really felt it was all worth it!
