Leaving Khabarovsk - Airport - Airplanes
Khabarovsk Novy International Airport is a relatively small one. It is located at the eastern part of the city, it was the main hub for Dalavia airlines which was shut down by the government due to large debts, now Aurora is the main airline operating from Khabarovsk.
By the end of 2019 the new terminal was opened. It was built where once was one of the oldest terminals of the airport. The new terminal is equipped by new air-bridges and escalators. It will be integrated with another Soviet-built terminal, which will be re-constructed in future.

Beriev Be-200 - Khabarovsk
Beriev Be-200 is a legendary amphibious aircraft which was designed and built by the Beriev Aircraft Company. the development of this aircraft was Initiated in 1989 under the design leadership of Alexander Yavkin.
First flight: 24 September 1998 and it is still in active use and production. The most interesting thing about this aircraft is that I can land on any surface… It is powered by two, Progress D-436TP engines mounted over fuselage. Obviously was done so to prevent water spraying into the engines during take-off and landing.
A very unique airplane and I was really happy to be able to see it inside out 😍

Old magical trams - Khabarovsk
Old but truly magical and extremely beautiful trams of Khabarovsk. I loved taking trams whenever I had a chance.
These trams are like a time machine. Once you are “onboard” you are no longer in the 21st century, and you are not in Russia! You are back in the Soviet Union. Everything is looking different throughout the thick glass of the windows of these trams.
My family members were always laughing at me whenever I was taking a tram 😄 when I had the options like to drive myself wherever I needed or at list taxi… but hopefully if they’ll see this pictures and read this caption they’ll understand why I loved tram rides in Khabarovsk.

Khabarovsk Tram ride
The Tram in Khabarovsk, the very first section was opened on November 5th 1956. At the moment the network consists of 4 operating routes and 66 trams.
The most useful section for visitors is defiantly the stretch of the network running from the main railway station along Amursky Boulevard. The trams are old and shabby but I think that’s what makes the experience unique and interesting.
As I love taking tram rides I just couldn't not do it in Khabarovsk. I hopped on the first tram which stopped at the station on the Sheronov street heading towards the railway station. After 20 minutes I was at the railway station but as I had nothing to do there I hopped on another one going the opposite way 😁 this section is very beautiful as it is passing through a park.

Khabarovsk - Sunset 🌅
Isn’t it beautiful?
A lot of people are like sunrises are so beautiful but I mean guys didn’t you ever pay attention and kind of realize how beautiful sunsets are? 🫶🏻
I love watching sunsets where ever I go, I can do it every single day!
This time I was enjoying it from the dam in Khabarovsk, and I have to say that it was extremely beautiful 😍 The colors in the sky and all that reflecting on the surface of the river Amur 🌅😍
The dam is a good spot to enjoy the sunset as it is less crowded and the view is just amazing!
By the way no filters/color grade or what so ever used in this video! Just imagine how beautiful it was in real life when it is so beautiful in the video without any filters or color correction…

Restaurant Sopka - Khabarovsk
The place offers a variety of local specialities prepared in an exquisite manner. You can enjoy European, Russian food and even seafood 🦞 They are also offering Gluten Free and Vegan Options to visitors. Decent amount of drinks to choose from.
Vast selections on the menu is making it a bit difficult to choose and order 😁 and the menu is in Russian, Chinese, and English.
The outdoor seating great for warm weather and the view over Amur river is very beautiful. If the weather isn’t warm enough you don’t need to worry every chair has blanket in case you get too cold🙃
Fantastic location, highly recommended to go with family and friends. I did both and was always leaving this place very satisfied. Once again the location and the view makes it a great place to enjoy the sunset while sipping wine 🍷

Plane Spotting - Khabarovsk - Novy Airport
Plane spotting at Khabarovsk Novy International airport.
Actually just a quick stop to enjoy 2 landings, as the airport is not too busy the plane spotting there is quite boring… But still you can see Boeing 747-400, Boeing 777-300ER and some other big bird landing and taking off.
Just make sure to check the time and get there not too early, also Dash 8 is kind of unique in Russia so that was also interesting one for me.
So, in this video you can see two landings
1. S7 Airlines - Airbus A320 all the way from Krasnoyarsk.
2. Aurora - Bombardier Dash 8 from Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
Have you ever been to Khabarovsk?

Aurora - A319 - Business class - Pek to Khv
Aurora is a Russian airline based in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Sakhalin Oblast. It is a subsidiary of Aeroflot operating domestic and international flights in Far East region of Russia. Aurora also ranks among the top ten biggest airlines in Russia in terms of amount of passengers carried.
It’s was my first time flying with them from Beijing - Capital international airport to Khabarovsk - Novy international airport.
It was a quiet good flight, the crew welcomed all the passengers, the seat in business was totally fine for such a short flight. The service was also better then I expected, they offered me pre department drink and then the meal service started right after the takeoff. In general almost like Aeroflot. It was good but still a lot of room for improvement 😉

Grodekovsky Museum in Khabarovsk
Grodekovsky Museum in Khabarovsk is a monument of architecture, culture and history of federal significance. The museum's funds include more than 400 thousand items.
The expositions and exhibitions feature exhibits dedicated to the paleontology and geology of the Amur region, the flora and fauna of the Far East, the fish of the Amur basin, the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Amur region and the Slavic settlers, the history of the development and development of the Russian Far East, the events of the Civil War in the Far East of 1917–1922. The expositions of the museum tell about Khabarovsk and the region for the entire period of its existence.
I recommend visiting the local history museum, not because of the history of the region, it's just a cool museum.

The Dormition Cathedral of Khabarovsk
On Komsomolskaya Square, opposite the Nevelskoy embankment, in the heart of Khabarovsk, the magnificent Grado-Khabarovsk Cathedral of the Assumption of the Mother of God rises above the Amur.
The cathedral was founded in 2000 and finally completed by 2001. The cathedral was built on the site of an old church demolished in 1937 by the Bolsheviks.
Those who come to the city try to get into this temple, which is distinguished by unusual architecture. This is probably the most beautiful building in Khabarovsk, both inside and out.
The cathedral is charming, especially at night, when illuminated. Locals and tourists consider this object worthy of attention and photography.
