Sandboarding in the Egyptian Desert
This is an awesome sport to try when there is nothing but sand around you. Our tour guide George Bassely is the one who supplied the fun to make this happen in the El Fayum desert and oasis.#sandboarding #traveleducator #egypt #ElFayum Just to advise when traveling to any desert areas in Egypt, please be sure to book an official tour with an officially licensed tour guide for your safety.

Walking in Tiananmen Square Forbidden City
#traveleducator #china
It is unusual for Americans to see this place. I was lucky that my colleague from Beijing was able to give me a tour of the true splendor of this historical monument and fixture of the seat of Beijing.
Just a note for travelers, be prepared to go through extensive security checkpoints including bag screening. Please be respectful of this area as it is a solemn reminder of sovereignty of the Chinese people.
Making Merit at Jing'an
#shanghailife #temples #traveleducator
On a winter day this Confucian Temple is still bustling. Visitors can make merit according to the ancient rites of both Buddhism and Confucianism with incense. I had the privilege of my guide and friend Susan with me to immerse me further into the ancient culture of China.
At the time of this visit was during the pandemic; yet that did not stop us or any others for the offering merit of hope.
Walk in the way of Confucius and The Boddha

This is Jing'an Temple located next to the meteo station of the same name. For the first timer to this sacred place there are guides and volunteer staff to assist in the learning and spiritual experience. We loved it and remains a place for me to visit in Shanghai often. This is a must see place!
Not Hollywood, It's Shanghai!
#china #TravelEducator #shanghaifilmpark
Myself and the other teachers were looking for something fun to do as it was my first week in China. So we went to this place called the Shanghai Film Park. It is a movie studio, backlot and historical museum all in one place. It is friendly to travel with family, friends, and colleagues or solo.
Notice the old classic and antique cars. You might find yourself as a movie extra.
Note: I will post again on this attraction with the updated hours open to the public and admission costs. Stay tuned!
