Big Ben, Palace of Westminster and London Eye
#meetlondon #london #palace #westminsterpalace
These are all popular places in London which are a few minutes away from each other.
The Palace is one of the centres of political life in the United Kingdom; "Westminster" has become a metonym for the UK Parliament and the British Government, and the Westminster system of government commemorates the name of the palace. The Elizabeth Tower, in particular, often referred to by the name of its main bell, Big Ben, has become an iconic landmark of London and of the United Kingdom in general, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city.
Right next to it, on the other side of the river, you will see London Eye. There are a lot of benches all over, so it's a great place to sit down, relax and enjoy the views.

If you live in the UK, you can visit the Palace of Westminster for free. If not, then you need to pay to visit this place.
The Palace of Westminster serves as the meeting place for both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Informally known as the Houses of Parliament, the Palace lies on the north bank of the River Thames in the City of Westminster, in central London, England.
Photos are allowed only in the main hall but it's absolutely amazing to see the House of Lords and the House of Commons and to learn more about British politics.
