Phan Thiet is called one of the paradises of Southeast Asia, and there is no exaggeration in this. Located in the south of Vietnam, washed by the warm waters of the South China Sea, this resort city attracts tourists from all over the world. And indeed, it can be tempting, especially in the cold winter season, to quit everything and go a thousand kilometers to soak up the magnificent sandy beach under the gentle southern sun .... the main thing here is the sun, the sea and the beaches, on which the correct pronunciation is already definitely has no effect. They delight tourists all year round, and the conditions for recreation, including active ones, are the most optimal, practically not inferior to other popular resorts.
Phan Thiet, with a population of 350,000, is not only a tourist center, but also an administrative one; it is the capital of Binh Thuan Province. The city, divided into 18 communes, is located 200 km from Ho Chi Minh City, so many travelers, despite this, though not too long, but still the distance, combine relaxation on local beaches with a sightseeing trip to the former Saigon. There are not so many sights in the resort itself, but they are original in their own way, they are distinguished by a truly Asian flavor, and domestic tourists are happy to get acquainted with them, carefully study and take pictures for memory.
Phan Thiet is a great place not only for beach activities, but also for water sports. There are also numerous shops where you can buy memorable souvenirs. As the sun goes down, the nightlife begins. In Phan Thiet, it does not have the same scope as in large resort cities, but you are guaranteed a great mood. And the hospitable Vietnamese are happy to treat tourists with national seafood dishes. In a word, a vacation spent here, even if it turns out to be short, will saturate every vacationer with energy, health, vivid emotions and unforgettable impressions for the whole year ahead!

Mui Ne has the official status of one of the remote quarters of the "most Russian resort of Vietnam" - Phan Thiet. But in fact, this long strip of sandy coast with a tiny cape has long turned into an independent vacation spot, successfully luring tourists from other Vietnamese resorts with the promise of excellent surfing, warm sea, and extraordinary cheapness.
Until the mid-90s, Mui Ne remained an inconspicuous fishing village: poor and living in its leisurely, relaxed rhythm. However, after the “discovery” of Phan Thiet and the South China Sea by Russian downshifters, winterers and “wave catchers” began to drop in here more and more often. Soon, the local inhabitants had to seriously make room to give way to large-scale resort development, thanks to which the modest village turned into one long noisy beach, occupied by kiters and surfers of all stripes, as well as lovers of budget Asian exotics. You can get from Ho Chi Minh Airport to Mui Ne by taxi, bus or a train running between the Vietnamese capital and Phan Thiet. The most convenient and expensive option is a taxi. Since the distance between the resort and the former Saigon is more than 200 km, the trip will “pull” 1,200,000 VND. However, if you bargain well, there is a chance to significantly bring down the price.
Traveling by bus will cost around 249,000 VND, but it will take 5-5.5 hours. You can check the schedule of routes on the official website of the bus company. An option for the most economical is a train leaving for the resort from Ho Chi Minh Central Station. Such a trip lasts about 3.5 hours and costs from 94,000 VND (a seat in a shared carriage) to 1,300,000 VND (a compartment). You can book tickets on the official website of the railway company, and it is better to do this in advance, since this route is very popular among the Vietnamese themselves
