Canada's most famous National Park
Banff is a must visit for anyone who's a nature lover Even if nature isn't you're thing, don't worry as Banff is still very accessible and you can still admire it.
Joining a tour is an option, especially if you go from Calgary. Further a day trip is also feasible but I would suggest spending a night or two to really feel the park and explore most of what it has to offer.
Banff is truly an amazing place as no landscape is the same after that moment, meaning even five minutes later, the same landscape would have changed. You'll find ice capped mountains, beautiful green forests, turquoise lakes and wildlife. You also might be greeted by the four seasons all in one day. Obviously the best time to visit is in summer when you can take advantage of the nice weather outdoors but other seasons have their own flavors as well. Therefore hop in a car and just drive around and get lost in this marvelous national park or Canada's backyard.
Overall, Banff has plenty to offer. You'll be greeted by lovely nature landscapes and memories that will awe you for the rest of your life.

One of the most beautiful and serene places is Banff Alberta. There are so many awesome spots to take photos, and it’s not difficult to get good shots either!
Here are three of my favorite lava toons to take photos in Banff:
1. The bluest water you will ever see is at Moraine Lake. The lake sits directly below an epic mountain range. The best time to go is early in the morning. There aren’t as many people in the mornings either. If you’re lucky enough to get cloud coverage, hike up above the downed log to get a spectacular view of the valley and lake.
2. Lake Louise is another amazingly blue lake that sits in the park. It is made up of direct glacier runoff. The best time to go for photos is sunset. If conditions are right, you may get an illuminated orange sky that makes perfect photos.
3. Lastly, one of my favorite places, is the town of Banff. It is a beautiful small mountain town, with spectacular views in every direction. The Prince of Wales Hotel sits on the South side of the town and it definitely a must see.

Peyto Lake is one of the most popular lakes in Banff National Park. The water is a brilliant blue colour like paint, and you can reach an elevated viewpoint with a short 10 minute walk.
There are few views that will take your breath away faster!
Peyto Lake is currently closed for renovations until summer 2021, but it should be on every Banff bucketlist!

lake Herbert is a beautiful lake on the Icefields Parkway on the way to Jasper. It’s the first lake you’ll come across as you pass the park gates, and most people just breeze past it!
If you stop there early in the morning, you might just get one of the best reflections in the entire national park! The water is shielded from wind and is a little warmer than the glacial fed lakes. There’s even a diving board at the far end of the lake for the brave amongst you!

Waterfowl Lakes are another beautiful group of bright turquoise lakes in Banff National Park. They lie along the Icefields Parkway on the way up to Jasper, and the shores are within just a few feet of the parking area. The view is spectacular, and it’s an amazing place to bring a stand up paddle board and go for a paddle!

Moraine Lake is arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world. Blue-green water that looks like it couldn’t be real and snow capped peaks.
The Moraine Lake area also has several amazing hikes that all begin at its shores. Consolation Lakes, Mount Temple and Larch Valley are just a few of the options available. Don’t forget you can also canoe here as well!

The incredible East End of Rundle Hike in Canmore, otherwise known as EEOR, is one of the most popular hikes in the Banff area. You can summit in around 2-3 hours and the views of the Bow Valley are beyond comparison. But you really don’t have to make it all the way to the top to get the amazing views. Even hiking halfway is worth the effort!

The Eden Restaurant at the Rimrock Hotel in Banff is one of only 3 Five Diamond restaurants in Canada and offers an absolutely incredible, once in a lifetime dining experience.
From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like royalty, and aside from the delicious courses, you’re treated to unique breads and butters, amuse bouches, and even a “party favour” at the end.
But you really have to try the food. It’s undoubtedly the finest dining experience in a Banff.
