Where to eat in Rome😉

As you know, Rome is famous for pasta, pizza, panini ice cream and coffee (espresso and cappuccino)😍 Who can resist?? Before I went to Rome, I have done a research for restaurants where local people are used to visiting. My tip is to try to find shops and restaurants where are traditional and full of local people. Let’s start!!🤤 1. One of the most delicious ice creams in Rome!! The Venchi ice cream! 😍 You can find it in many spots in Rome, but this chocolate waterfall is near the Fontana Di Trevi!! I couldn’t believe that I saw waterfall! It is incredible🤎 More information about the ice cream shop: - The 1 ball of ice cream costs ~ 2,50€ - You can find various types of chocolates - You can try various of ice cream flavours 😍 - The status is very helpful and kind. Always with a smile in their faces😍 Don’t miss the chance to visit it!! 2. Best pizza in town! Let me introduce you the Pizza Florida Roma for a crunchy pizza 😍 It is so delicious!! I have been to Rome 4 days and I was eating pizza for 3 days🤤 (the prices are very friendly). You can find various of pizza flavours! One of my favourites was Pizza Margarita. So simply but so delicious at the same time! 3. Do not forget to try Panini or Italian sandwich! I found the Bottega Nostrana. So many paninies and so many flavours!! And guess what!! You are able to try sweet panini too!! It is perfect for the sweet lovers, like me😍 4. One more ice cream shop is Gelateria La Romana. You can try their ice cream and coffee too!! As you know, Italian are used to drinking espresso and cappuccino 😉 5. If you need a morning coffee and snack, I get you! Sciascia Cafè 1919. Maybe one of the oldest cafes in Rome! I love it for the traditional decoration and for the coffee there! 😍 6. The best for the end!!! You have to visit Trastevere village in Rome. It is a graphic place with a large number of restaurants and local shops. One of the restaurants I visited was Tonarello!! You need to go early due to the fact that there is quite a long waiting queue!! It is worth it and you will not wait for long😉 We tried pizza for sure, pasta and supplì with rice, potatoe and tomato. the Magic and Reality of the Trevi Fountain

The Trevi Fountain. 💙 This was my first time visiting and I was in awe! What a beautiful absolutely magical place! Located in Rome, Italy, it is one of the most famous and iconic fountains in the world. ⛲️ It is featured in many movies and photos, and is often depicted as a serene (exhibit A - the photo which I have shared with you) and romantic spot where visitors can throw coins into the fountain. The reality of visiting the Trevi Fountain is a little different. Friends had told me it’s SOOO busy. While I thought I was prepared, I could never have imagined just how BUSY it gets. The crowds there were more than I expected. But, then again I can totally understand why. What to expect: The fountain may be crowded with tourists, busy and noisy, difficult to get a photo with a clear view of the Trevi and can have quite a bit of litter around. Managing expectations: be prepared for the crowds and hustle and bustle that come with this magical location. The Trevi Fountain remains a must-see place! 🤩🫶🏼The beauty and history of the fountain make it worth the visit. If you want to see it when it’s a little less crowded, try to visit early in the morning or later in the evening when there may be less people around. Photo tip: work those angles. Rome was an unforgettable experience. In three days we have done many activities😍 Sightseeing in 3 days: - Vittoriano building (you are allowed to go inside too) - The Fontana Di Trevi! One of the most beautiful fountains🥹 Do not forget flipping a coin and make a wish! - Coliseum, where you can also go inside and the ticket costs ~4€ - The Pantheon - The Vatican City. THE FAMOUS SPANISH STEPS

The steps that connect Rome's Piazza di Spagna with the French monastic church Trinita dei Monti are known as the "Spanish steps," and they were constructed between 1723 and 1726 in the Rococo architectural style (built between 1502–1587). There are three distinct terraces and 135 stairs, alluding to the Holy Trinity (the Trinità). Even though it is shared with crowds of other tourists, the view from the top of the stairs near the Egyptian obelisk is stunning. The name can be a little misleading because the French actually ordered the steps' construction (Louis XII). The Spanish Steps got their name because in the 17th century, the Spanish embassy was situated at the bottom of the stairs, in the area known as "Piazza di Spagna." Spanish steps is consequently not the official name but Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti. The "Fontana della Barcaccia" fountain, designed by Pietro Bernini, the renowned Gian Lorenzo Bernini's father, is also located on this Piazza di Spagna. This phrase is translated as "Fountain of the Ugly Boat." This is not a reference to the sculpture's appearance; rather, it refers to the legend that the small, unsightly boat was left here after the Tiber flooded in 1598. My Journey to Ostia Antica Rome Italy

It is a the little details that make Ostia Antica worth the visit at Rome Italy. The ruins is actually not that well preserved and while there are apparently frescoe there of similar quality to Pompeii, the lack of staffing means they are only open to the public very rarely and abit limit. Details here, that I have not seen as well-preserved at other sites. There is a super well-preserved restaurant / bar that really gives you the feel for what the atmosphere might have been like inside a Roman restaurant an age long ago. The Casa di Diana is the best preserved insulated ( multi-storied apartment building) I have seen anywhere. Behind the theatre there is a courtyard lined with the Roman equivalent of 'guild houses, each with a mosaic announcing the trade of the guild members and publics. One of the wealthier houses has a toilet that can still be seen and there is also a well-preserved set of public toilets. The site is uncrowded and really pleasant to wander around.If you are really love ruins and historical sites considering the tours was an option for you all discover more. We were in Italy in July 2022. We were in Rome for 5 days. We visited this land mark many times as it was on way to many other attractions in Rome. At the bottom of Spanish Steps is beautiful Piazza Di Sapgna. View from top of steps is beautiful. We climbed down these steps rather than climbing up in a hot day. It is a must visit place when you are in Rome. Lots of crowds. These steps include so much history so it is a sort of must to experience this place. Quite many steps but made it till the top. The Raphael's Rooms are without a doubt one of the highlights of the Vatican Museums, possibly coming in second only to the Sistine Chapel. The rooms served as Pope Julius II's personal quarters, and he gave Raphael the contract for the paintings. They were painted by the Urbino painter from 1508 till his death in 1520. His students carried on the job until 1524 after his death. The Stanza della Segnatura (Room of Signature), which served as Julius II's personal library, is the most well-known space. The Disputation of the Holy Sacrament (theology), The School of Athens (philosophy), The Parnassus (poetry), and The Cardinal Virtues are only a few of the four frescoes that depict the four major areas of knowledge (Law). The Stanza di Eliodoro ("Room of Heliodorus"), which was painted by the artist between 1511 and 1514, is the second room. With God's involvement in people's lives, the Church's spiritual and temporal power is elevated here.
