When Noosa Chocolate Factory opened their 3rd store in Brisbane CBD, it was a big hit for chocolate lovers. They are well known for locally made chocolates that are fresh and tasty! They also sell varieties of hot and iced drinks in store.
When we visited Brisbane Arcade, this is the first store we have noticed. We got really curious as people were lining up to enter, so we lined up as well. As we got inside the store, I was mesmerised to see chocolates with unique flavours, shapes, and sizes that I haven't seen before. Most of them are well-packaged for Christmas, making it a desirable present. So, we decided to buy as a gift for our family. The prices are affordable too. It was definitely worth it!
Take note: As the chocolate slabs are genuinely handcrafted, prices can vary on their sizes and weight. Hence, individual slabs are priced per "100g". If you are unsure, ask their friendly staff.

A Chocolate Factory at Dempsey Hill?
I first discovered Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie through their Sin Ming shop as I was walking around the area looking for somewhere to eat at lunch time around 3 years ago. Went inside the shop and there started my fixation for chocolate bonbons and pralines. I follow them on IG and learned that they have opened a shop in Dempsey Hill. Not just a shop but a chocolate factory. And last June, I was able to visit Mr. Bucket on a hot Saturday afternoon after work.
I was seated at the alfresco area since there were no available seats inside the restaurant. To be honest, the design of the alfresco area is better than the interior dining area. The ordering & payment process were very easy. Just scan a QR code, pay for the meal, then eat. The staff were also nice and accommodating even though I was outside. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie, their signature chocolate dome cake, and the iced cacao husk lemon tea. Everything was delicious. I don’t eat veggies, but I was able to finish the salad included in the toastie set. That says a lot! I certainly did hums of approval while eating the chocolate cake. It was rich and just the right amount of sweetness that I want. What surprised me was the iced cacao husk lemon tea. It paired well with what I ate. It became a palate-cleanser for me since it’s a bit sour and not that sweet unlike the normal iced lemon teas you get around Singapore. I had a good time here eating while journaling plus I get to people-watch also.
After finishing my meal, I went inside and looked at the factory. I also browsed the retail area but did not buy anything since I couldn’t find the bottled chocolate drinks that I once bought at their Sin Ming shop. The restaurant allows diners with pets at the alfresco area. They have treats for pets too. A note to myself would be to come back here with friends so I could try the other items as well.

I've came about knowing Chocelf, an award-winning chocolate brand which is established right here in Singapore. Chocoelf is the joint creation of an experienced chocolatier and a medical doctor, both Singaporeans, who wish to share their unique Singapore-style chocolates with the rest of the world.

It's amazing because they believe in the “No Sugar is better than Sugar-ed” concept, the focus of Chocoelf has always been to make healthier chocolates using little or no sugar at all. I’ve been to Shanghai many times but this time I’ve got a recommendation to visit the Zotter Chocolate Theater, the ticket was 268 and it was WORTH IT!
The tour begins with a movie at the theater about The chocolate making process and where the beans are grown. After you go through a museum like display where you can try the different ingredients of the chocolate. Then you can smell different spices and try to guess what they are.
The next part it’s to try different kinds of base chocolate and to create your own chocolate, after you can try A LOT of different chocolate, from 100% cocoa to chili, popcorn and cola, strawberry, pumpkin seeds… anything you can imagine. then chocolate milks well! I’m glad I didn’t have lunch before coming.
The shopping mall and the pier around made it worth the trip.

This place is incredible.
I have been to London a number of times, never been here.
The range of items is uncanny. From clothing to luggage tags, crockery to fridge magnets.
It is incredible what you can find with the M&M's logo on.
Yes, it is a little pricey, that is to be expected in a store, that covers 4 floors, entirely of their own product.
From the photo booth to the personalised M&M's they have a unique grasp of what people want. They are a little quirky but they appeal to the younger audience, which then means the parents cave in and put their hand in their pockets.
I could easily have spent more money in there, but I managed to resist, and in turn talk my kids out of, wanting everything they saw.
It is well worth a visit for anyone with kids, or a sweet tooth, heading into London.

Tasty coffee in Chinatown KL
Great coffee at Kaffe 16 in Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur.
Perfectly steamed milk which brought out it's natural sweetness blended with nice bright and sightly bitter espresso in their Cappuccino. This is in contrast to their dirty latte which is espresso blended with cold milk with a chocolate rimmed glass which brought a nice bitterness to the cold milkiness of the cold milk espresso.
The staff were attentive and attended to requests quickly and cleaned tables immediately once customers left which kept the cafe clean and uncluttered.

Chocolate Crispy Baked Soufflé come surprised me so much, so fluffy and looking so good, serving with chocolate sauces, insides soufflé is so soft and smooth, need very high technique making the texture so good like this haaa, the taste won’t be too sweet, and dipping with chocolate sauce is good
The waiters here are so polite and friendly though the serving time is a bit too long, waiting 2hours for just 3dishes…the food quality is just ok this time, no outstanding thing except the lovely soufflé, the environment is cool too with wintery scene, nice room to grasp a tea time here

East Nanjing Road is known for having everything you could think of, including this newish huge store of M&Ms. 2 floors designated purely to this chocolate can seem a bit excessive however the first floor is mostly gifts and shaped chocolate options. Upstairs is where the fun begins, with at least 50 individual colour/combos of M&Ms in tubes, you can create your own mix bag easily.

The Amazing Fast Foods In Monterey
There is one chocolate shop that you should put it in your bucket list and it is a MUST eat MUST visit when you are in California Monterey.
Heard of the ever famous Ghirardelli Chocolate, where most people will get gifts for friends and families where they have opened an ice cream shop which are famous for those squarish chocolates you see in supermarket. This is a Premium America chocolate brand where they have a cafe located at Steinback Plaza right infront of the monterey bay.
We stopped here for a break due to the insane hot weather now in california, the ice cream toppings with chocolate of course is by Ghirardelli itself, therefore the really expensive prices which cost us almost $50usd for ice cream alone.
They also do have a merchandise shop right by the cafe itself selling limited edition Ghirardelli merchandises that you can only get it from this particular shop. Also, no photo is allowed here in the gift shop, I was told off while trying to snap a shot.

The art of making Chocolate and cakes
L’art Sucré means sugared arts and that’s definitely what you find if you visit this chocolate shop and bakery in Frankfurt.
The place is located at Grosse Bockenheimer Strasse, a walking street that has also many other places to visit but I decided to stop in this lovely place to have a cup of coffee.
The coffee was extremely good and the bakery products and chocolates as well although I was there without having had lunch beforehand and I decided to skip the sweets.
If you ever go to European capitals, the chocolate shops and factories are definitely a place to visit, it’s something so European and also so tasty.

Requested for early check-in but its subjected to availability. Came earlier than the check in timing, waited 1hour plus before we could finally access to our rooms. Usage of the pool were limited during that period. It was crowded and was mainly for photo taking, there was barely any space for swimming. The room was spacious and toilet was amazing. Love the bathtub. Overall I think its a little overrated, the security of the hotel is annoying but yet it makes the hotel guest feel safe.

Awfully Chocolate branded itself as Singapore favourite chocolate and without a doubt I do think of them when I wanna buy a slice of chocolate cake as dessert. Not only selling cakes, they even sells chocolate bars, ice cream and cookies and depending on the occasion like now, they are selling moon cakes filled with oozing kind of chocolate in the inner part.
I love their cookies as they tasted soft and the chocolate chips I can taste the chocolate too!
