Old Jaffa is steeped in history
The old city of Jaffa is located in the south of Tel Aviv, yet is walkable from most areas of the city. Its history dates back centuries and was a landing point for most coming to Palestine via the sea. It is unique as a melting pot of many different faiths, Muslim, Jewish, and Christian neighbours all living together. Highly recommend Jaffa for a half day activity spent wandering the sights! #israel #telaviv #middle_east
The Stunning Souq Waqif 🇶🇦
If you are ever in Qatar, this is a must visit tourist attraction!
Souq Waqif reflects the rich middle eastern culture one expects, full of magnificent middle eastern buildings and a bustling market filled with spices and items that stops you at every corner.
At night, the market comes to life with many locals and foreigners visiting Souq Waqif to purchase goods and visit the many famous restaurants over at the market place.
I was fortunate to get my hands on Lebanese and Egyptian food during my visits there and it did not disappoint! All the meats that I ordered (Lamb, Chicken and Beef) were all super tender while the rice that was served was rich in flavor. Hopefully one day I’ll be back!

Bike Tour at Tel-Aviv's City-Beach
Tel Aviv is a city with a huge and clean coastline with many beaches. 🏖️ You can explore them by renting a bike and cycling the coastline of the city.
🚲💰 Rent a bike: In Tel-Aviv Yafo you can see renting bike places. Expect to pay about 10USD for a half day. Close to Carmel Market and in Florentine are many renters.
📍 You can start from Tel Aviv - Yafo and go either north or south. Some parts of the road have special bike lanes or greenways.
If you want to stop somewhere and go to the beach, better lock the bike.

The Ancient Crossroads of Al-Karak
Al-Karak is a city in Jordan located about 130 km south of Amman. Here are some key facts about it:
- It is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Dead Sea and is known for the imposing Crusader castle located there.
- The castle dates back to 1142 CE when it was built by the Crusaders. It served as a fortification and administrative center for the Crusaders in the region.
- Inside the castle complex are battlements, towers, chapels, banquet halls and underground galleries that served as stables. The castle displays both Islamic and Crusader architectural elements.
- In 1176, Saladin captured Al-Karak castle after laying siege to it for over a year. It later fell back into Crusader hands in the 13th century.
- The city of Al-Karak served historically as a rest stop on the north-south trade route in the Levant region. It was also an important agricultural center.
- Major landmarks today include the castle, the Al-Mazar Archaeological Museum, the Hussein bin Ali Mosque, and the old Ottoman market district downtown.
- Al-Karak is home to two universities - Mutah University and Al-Karak University. The city has around 140,000 inhabitants today.
- The city is surrounded by important ancient sites like Mukawir/Machaerus, the mount Nebo monasteries, and the ancient village of Dana.
