Taringa travel guide and discussion

The best staycation spot in the heart of Taringa, conveniently located right next to the train station. Its prime and strategic location, reasonable rates, and cozy, homey rooms make it ideal. The place is very clean and features the amazing Tamrab Thai restaurant. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Salman, Mr. Noah, and Ms. Jacinda from the Reception team for their warm welcome and exceptional service, the housekeeping team for maintaining cleanliness, and the Tamrab Thai Restaurant team, along with all Essence Suites Taringa staff, for their outstanding hospitality.

A really solid spot in Brisbane if you want to catch a football match without losing the café vibe. It sits in that sweet middle ground between a sports bar and a relaxed hangout, so match days feel energetic but not chaotic. During FIFA World Cup games, they usually lean into the atmosphere with special screening setups and match-time deals, which makes it easy to settle in for a full 90 minutes with friends. The crowd tends to be a mix of regular café-goers and football fans, so it doesn’t feel overly rowdy but still has that shared excitement when goals go in #bestplacestowatchfootball

Beautiful cafe with an attached garden, good mood and music, and tasty + original desserts make this a must visit for couples to enjoy a relaxing break and take pretty pictures. There is additional seating in an Annex building, so don’t get discouraged if it looks full at first glance - parking is limited, though. The only minus is their strict one drink per person policy that strangely includes small children - be aware if you want to visit with your family. Otherwise, it's a very nice place for Australia. Somewhat unique in its design and menu #australiatrip#travel

The food here is incredible. I ate here with my parents. Every dish we tried was so flavorful and well made that we couldn’t stop coming back to try something new. It’s the kind of place where everything on the menu looks tempting, and you know you can’t go wrong. Even with how busy it gets, the vibe is still great, and the staff does a fantastic job of keeping everything running smoothly. You can tell this is a place that people love—and now we do too. #australiatrip #staycation
