Ternate is roughly 2hrs travel from Manila. This place is home to spanish inspired houses and even with their local dislect chavacano. The countryside feel in this town is evident with its laid back building designs and the seasonal fiesta. When fiesta is around the corner, mobile rides are installed in the town plaza to enjoy at roughly half a dollar price for each. The local produce and crafts are also available on the streets which is very affordable. Thinking about food, you can eat in a lot of the homes for free during this festive event. #mynovgetaway

#falladventures #travel #familytravel I was invited to a friend’s school reunion, which was celebrated there at Marines Camp, particularly Katungkulan Beach.” The way going there is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The beach is quite clean “in the morning and blurry in the afternoon. What totally disgusted me is that the baths have no proper disposal of dirty water ....and I literally saw a pipe dripping with dirty water STRAIGHT to the beach!!! No trash bins were provided either. Empty shampoo sachets, used sanitary napkins, used diapers, and used soaps were scattered on the floor! There are not enough trash bins on sight along the cottage areas as well, so yes, trash everywhere! Poor, poor beach. The management should act on these AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, or this beach will be polluted in due time!!!!. If you compare it to other beaches in the Cavite Area, this might be the best. Other beaches have been polluted because they are near Manila Bay, which is being managed by the Marines, so it is a bit clean, but really crowded because the place is very cheap and easy to go to, and you can feel the security as well because there are a lot of soldiers. The beach is average; the sand is not white. The view is also ok. You can see an island from the beach, I think it is a submarine. We rented a nipa hut worth 1500php. The sand isn't too fine but it is already great in Luzon beach starndard. The water is not as clear but it is clean. Entrance fee: 100 but you will pay more if you are staying overnight. Enjoy!
