🌆Tijuana, a city on the Mexican border, gave me an unforgettable trip! 🎫Tourist attractions and ticket prices: Revolution Avenue: Free. It's really lively here, with people coming and going and shops lined up one after another. But be careful, some merchants will deliberately raise prices, so remember to bargain when shopping! Tijuana Cultural Center: Tickets are about 50 pesos. The exhibitions inside are very interesting, but the signs are not very clear, so sometimes you have to look for them yourself so as not to miss the wonderful parts. Friendship Park: Free. The scenery is good, but there is a lot of garbage. I hope the management can be strengthened. 🍖Specialty food: Mexican tortillas: About 30 pesos per serving. The taste is really great, but the hygiene of the street shops is a bit uneven. Mexican burrito: About 80 pesos. The portion is very large, but it is a bit too spicy for me. Friends who can't eat spicy food should tell the store in advance. 🎁Specialty products: Traditional Mexican handicrafts, such as brightly colored woven items, cost about 100 pesos for small ones and 500 pesos for large, delicate ones. Spending time in Tijuana . I drove here from the middle of Texas( long drive). I’m realizing really quick the aggressive driving skills you need here. The food is always amazing and very affordable. Just wrapped up an 18-day grand tour across the US, Canada, and Mexico with friends, and it was such a fulfilling experience! Even though we were a bit worn out from all the walking, the views were absolutely breathtaking and completely worth it. But the absolute highlight of the trip? The authentic Buffalo wings in Buffalo! They honestly don't compare to the ones back in Hong Kong. The local sauce is incredibly rich, tangy, and spicy, while the skin is perfectly crispy and the chicken stays juicy. Paired with a cold beer, it's just heaven. You definitely can't miss this! For our final days, we visited Silicon Valley and the town of Carmel-by-the-Sea. We spent time touring famous campuses and soaking in the ocean breeze; the slower pace was so relaxing and comfortable. Having just returned, here are a few practical tips: 1. For multi-country trips, remember to exchange a bit of local currency in small denominations beforehand. Cash is much more convenient when you're hitting local markets or buying street food. 2. Prices for local specialties can vary quite a bit, so it’s worth doing a little homework before buying to avoid impulse spending. 3. For airport transfers, safety and peace of mind are key.
