For me, Kundasang is not about rushing from one attraction to another. The sanatorium (Sibiriya) sells day-passes for the beach (500 RUB, card). Mistake: I walked at 1 p.m. in July — steppe sun 32°C, no mist, moss grey, horseflies on the boardwalk, 40 bites. Dawn. Local rule: lake free, sanatorium beach 500 RUB, no drone over the sanatorium, stay on the boardwalk, the mossy seep is a water source not a footpath. The moss on the board-edge is the steppe mist's catch — step on cut timber. Opinion: Itkul is the Khakassian lake 2 hrs from Abakan that nobody outside Russia knows, and the mossy north-bay boardwalk is the 20-min half with zero sanatorium crowd. Should Khakassia Tourism plank the full 6 km and add a 200 RUB honour box, or keep the free boardwalk? I'd plank it. Would you bus 2 hrs to a Khakassian lake for a mossy pine boardwalk?

Farm Fresh @ UPM is a good and wonderdul place for family kids to visit on the weekend or holidays. It is a big farm with beautiful green fields and open space, can say it looks like a mini New Zealand. There are some fun activities to do there. Tractor train ride, hop on a fun tractor ride that pulls us around the wide-open green fields to see the whole farm. Kids also love the barrel rides where they sit inside cute decorated barrels hooked up to a small tractor, to give children a fun bumpy ride around the pet zoo and chicken areas. Children can go for unlimited rides during their visit. Kids love to see and feed animals. There is a petting zoo with fluffy rabbits and deer. Besides can also visit the big cow barns, check out the chicken farm, see colorful fish at the mini aquarium, and hang out at the new Cat House or take a Horse Joyride. We can walk through pretty flower tunnels and climb up the new Tree House to get an amazing view of the entire farm. There is also a nice cafe on the farm - The Acre Restaurant. They serve delicious woodfire sourdough pizzas, pastas, and local Malaysian-style brunch dishes. If want a cool treat, stop here for bubble tea, or their famous fresh milk soft-serve ice cream. Everything is made with fresh dairy straight from the farm. We really enjoy the foods and drinks here. Before go home, can buy some organic vegetables and fresh milk at store there. The entry ticket does not cost too much money, so it is a good choice for a family day out. But the farm is very open and does not have much shade. It can get very hot and sunny during the day. So better bring an umbrella, wear a hat, and put on sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. Suggest best time to visit on late afternoon after 4pm, The weather is becoming less sunny and can enjoy the beautiful sunset views. It is less crowded on weekday mornings. #epictravelmoments One of my most luxurious travel experiences was flying Singapore Airlines Business Class from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport T1 to Singapore Changi. ❤️✈️ And honestly, this was one of those rare trips where I decided to simply treat myself and enjoy every single moment! My journey started smoothly at the Business Class check-in counter before heading airside. Since I also had Star Alliance Gold status, I had a choice of lounges, including the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge or the Air New Zealand Lounge, depending on eligibility and access rules. 💡 My personal travel tip: don’t automatically go to the first lounge you know! Check your eligible lounge options first. I enjoyed relaxing with good food and drinks before boarding, and it made the whole airport experience feel like part of the holiday instead of just waiting for a flight. Then came the highlight — the Singapore Airlines Airbus A380! 😍✈️ The spacious Business Class seat was incredibly comfortable, with enough room for me to stretch out and eventually relax in a fully flat bed. I also loved the Le Labo amenities — such a nice little luxury touch. And let’s be honest… Business Class for me basically became: 😂 EAT. EAT. EAT. THEN EAT AGAIN. The lounge, the A380, the food, drinks, movies and lie-flat comfort were all part of the experience. Business Class is definitely not an everyday thing for me because it is a real luxury, but if you ever have the chance, I honestly think trying the A380 Business Class experience at least once as a personal treat is something special. Since I was flying Singapore Airlines Business Class and had Star Alliance Gold status, I had access to more than one lounge at Sydney T1 International. Of course, I could have gone to the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge, but it was a little busier when I visited. So I headed to the Air New Zealand Lounge instead — and honestly, I was so glad I did! 😍✈️ For me, this lounge felt much bigger, more spacious and more relaxing. I really loved the stylish bar area, which had such a cool and modern design. There was plenty of comfortable seating and a spacious dining area, so I never felt cramped. The food selection was mainly Western-style, with plenty to eat before my flight. 🍽️ There were also many drink choices, from alcoholic beverages at the bar to non-alcoholic options. One of my favourite parts? The large floor-to-ceiling windows! ✈️😍 I could sit back, relax and even enjoy some plane spotting while watching aircraft activity outside. I honestly had such a good time here before boarding my Singapore Airlines flight home. Just a short drive from Queenstown, Arrowtown feels completely different from the energetic atmosphere of the city. The historic buildings, tree-lined streets, small cafés and surrounding mountains give the town a really relaxed and charming atmosphere. What I enjoyed most was that Arrowtown doesn’t feel like a place you need to rush through. After spending time around Queenstown, arriving in Arrowtown felt like slowing down the pace completely. I enjoyed simply walking along the historic streets and looking at the old buildings. Everything felt cosy and relaxed, especially with the mountains in the background. What surprised me was how photogenic the town was. You don't necessarily need a specific viewpoint or attraction — almost every little street corner has something worth photographing. 📸 I also enjoyed walking towards the Arrow River. The scenery becomes much quieter once you leave the main street, and it was a nice place to take a break from sightseeing. If you're interested in history, the Chinese Settlement is also worth a visit. Seeing the small stone huts and learning a little about the gold-mining history gave me a better understanding of how this small town developed. And if you're lucky enough to visit during autumn, the whole place feels even more special. 🍂🏔️ 💡 Travel Tips · Arrowtown is only around 20 minutes by car from Queenstown, making it an easy half-day trip · Allow around 2–4 hours if you want to explore the historic centre, river and Chinese Settlement at a relaxed pace · Autumn is one of the most beautiful times to visit because of the colourful trees 🍂 · Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk along the Arrow River · The town centre is compact, so walking is the easiest way to explore · Arrive earlier if you prefer a quieter experience, especially on weekends · Take some time to explore the small cafés and shops instead of just stopping for photos · Arrowtown can easily be combined with other Queenstown-area attractions as part of a South Island road trip For me, Arrowtown was a completely different side of Queenstown. 🇳🇿 It wasn't about adventure rides or ticking off a long list of attractions. During the day, the colour of the water was what immediately caught my attention. With the mountains in the background, it almost looked unreal. I also really enjoyed walking towards the Church of the Good Shepherd. It’s a small church, but its location right beside the lake makes it one of those places that looks much more impressive in person than you might expect from photos. What surprised me most was how peaceful Tekapo felt. There were no huge buildings or busy city streets around the lake — just mountains, water, open skies and nature. 🏔️🌊 And once the sun went down, Tekapo felt completely different again. Located on the shores of Lake Wānaka in New Zealand, the famous Wānaka Tree, or That Wānaka Tree, is one of the country’s most photographed natural landmarks. Standing alone in the lake, its twisted branches and mountain backdrop make it look almost unreal, especially when reflected perfectly on the water. But there’s another beautiful tree nearby that often gets overlooked.
