Great Stay in a Tropical Paradise
Lovely area with well-spaced bungalows, three pools, bars, and a large restaurant offering a wide variety of fresh buffet food. We had a fantastic time. Our bungalow was spotless and very private. If you want 5-star luxury, you should be prepared to pay for it—I can’t understand the complaints about this place when we all got such an affordable deal. How can you complain about value for money? People need to remember this is a wooded coastal area on a tropical island, so encountering ants shouldn't be surprising.
Food options were great; fresh fish, pork chops, chicken, rice, pasta, salads, fruits, and more. If someone’s upset about the lack of burgers or hot dogs, perhaps they're used to fast food. There was plenty of choice each day. The entertainment staff were excellent, offering activities like water aerobics every morning and lively evening shows. There were enough amenities that you wouldn’t need to leave the resort: tennis courts, snorkeling, darts, pools, etc.
The staff were friendly and worked hard, even though they didn’t receive tips since it’s all-inclusive. Overall, I couldn’t fault anything and felt bad for the staff dealing with unreasonable guests complaining about things in a two-star resort where they paid so little!
