We feel incredibly lucky to have found Leonel for our time in Lisbon. Without a doubt, he is the finest and most knowledgeable guide we could have hoped for. We arranged two private tours with him. First, my husband, a history enthusiast, wanted to learn about the Peninsular War and the Linhas de Torres Vedras outside Lisbon. Coincidentally, Leonel lives in that area and was excited to share its history during my husband's private tour. He took the time to drive us to key sites and shared his extensive knowledge of the events that happened during that era. It was truly a highlight for my husband. The second tour included four of us visiting secret spots in Sintra. After leaving the crowded city center, we roamed the serene parklands of Biester Palace. The mystical aura, tranquility, and beauty revealed the true essence of Sintra. We encountered only a few people during the walk and toured the stunning palace with its extraordinary woodwork and details. The views of other palaces and castles were breathtaking, and it was clear that most visitors were being shuffled through like cattle. Leonel guided us to some of the most unforgettable and picturesque places we’d never have discovered on our own. His rates were very reasonable, and he proved to be an incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive guide.

Without a doubt, this was one of the most special experiences we've ever had! From the very first contact, BlackCab Tours provided exceptional service. The clean, comfortable, air-conditioned car was crucial, especially on a hot summer day in Portugal, between one stop and another. All this came at a fair price, making every moment of this fantastic private tour truly worthwhile. We left with our hearts full of gratitude.
