[Osaka/Umeda] An All-You-Can-Eat Dakhanmari Restaurant.
🥢 Hare Tokidoki Dakhanmari Shokudo Umeda Branch
📍 Osaka Umeda (5-minute walk from Hankyu Umeda Station)
This time, I ordered:
· Dakhanmari Satisfaction Set (4,300 yen)
· All-you-can-drink (2,000 yen) 📝
The Dakhanmari is all-you-can-eat for 120 minutes 🍲
It's a highly satisfying course where you can enjoy whole-chicken Dakhanmari, Korean side dishes, a la carte dishes, kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), and rice porridge ✨
The set includes:
· All-you-can-eat Dakhanmari
· 5 kinds of Korean side dishes
· Korean a la carte dish
· Kalguksu
· Rice porridge
The Korean side dishes include napa cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, cucumber kimchi (oi kimchi), spinach namul, and soybean sprout namul.
You can enjoy a variety of flavors little by little, making them perfect snacks while waiting for the hot pot to be ready ☺️
For the Dakhanmari ingredients, you can get unlimited refills of chicken, tteokbokki (rice cakes), brown enoki mushrooms, green onions, potatoes, chives, and garlic 🙆♀️
First, the staff cuts the large whole chicken right in front of you!
It's so impactful that your excitement builds up even before eating ✨
Once the pot comes to a boil, add the tteokbokki, flip the hourglass, and wait for 5 minutes ⏳
First, take a sip of the soup as is.
The savory flavor of the chicken is fully infused, creating a gentle and comforting taste 💗
For the second sip, add a little salt.
Adding salt brings out the chicken's umami even more, and this is absolutely delicious!
I drank it so fast that the soup was almost gone 😂
It's also fun to mix dadaegi (spicy paste), mustard, soy sauce, and vinegar to create your favorite dipping sauce.
Adding chives and garlic changes it into a more punchy flavor 🌶️
The chicken is slowly simmered until moist and tender.
It has thoroughly absorbed the umami of the soup, so it's enjoyable whether eaten as is or dipped in the special sauce.
And my absolute favorite was the potato 🥔
It soaked up plenty of soup and became so fluffy and delicious...!
I definitely asked for seconds 💛
Additional chicken comes pre-cut into bite-sized pieces for easy eating.
For the Korean a la carte dish, you can choose between bossam (boiled pork wrap) or chive buchimgae (pancake).
The bossam features moist meat that you can enjoy with kimchi, making it an easy-to-eat dish between bites of the hot pot.
The chive buchimgae has a savory, crispy outside and a chewy inside, pairing really well with drinks ☺️
To finish the meal, kalguksu and rice porridge 🍜🍚
The kalguksu noodles soak up the soup packed with chicken umami, and eating them with their chewy texture is simply the best ✨
Even if you're full, you'll find yourself slurping them up.
As for the rice porridge, the rice absorbs plenty of the concentrated Dakhanmari soup, and the restaurant's special touch is pouring beaten egg over it at the end 🥚
The fluffy egg mixes in, making it very mellow.
This porridge was so delicious that I felt like I could eat endless bowls of it 💛
The all-you-can-drink menu includes not only beer and highballs but also makgeolli and makgeolli cocktails 🍻
It's great to be able to enjoy a variety of drinks along with Korean food.
Highly recommended not just for Dakhanmari lovers, but also for first-timers.
The staff politely explains how to eat it, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind ☺️
I heard they are also open for lunch, which makes me curious about that too.
An all-you-can-eat feast where you can thoroughly enjoy everything from Dakhanmari to kalguksu and rice porridge until the very end.
It's perfect for days when you want to have a fun time eating Korean food with friends or family ✨
The all-you-can-eat Dakhanmari seems to be limited in quantity, so advance reservations are recommended 🙆♀️
