Here are my recommendations for a day in Vic: 1️⃣ Plaça Major This is the heart of Vic, and you’ll probably pass through it more than once. The square is huge, open, and surrounded by beautiful old buildings. If you happen to visit on market day, it completely transforms—full of stalls, locals, and energy. Otherwise, it’s the perfect place to sit, grab a coffee, and people-watch. 2️⃣ Pont de Queralt One of the most photogenic spots in town. This old stone bridge has such a calm, timeless feel to it, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. Walking across it gives you a different perspective of Vic—quieter, softer, and full of charm. 3️⃣ Temple Romà de Vic Tucked away among the streets, this Roman temple is a bit of a surprise when you first see it. It dates back nearly 2,000 years, and somehow it’s still standing right in the middle of town. The town it self is very picturesque and worth spending time to explore. All over the market you can buy all kind of nice foods,snacks and drinks.i highly recommend you to visit this medieval market. Every years' December, the Medieval Market returns to the city of Vic! Over three days, Vic transforms itself to recreate the medieval era. Exhibitors spread throughout the old town offer a wide variety of goods, such as decorative items, jewelry, herbs, candles, clothing, accessories, sweets, chocolates and so much more! This market features a number of delicious spots to eat and drink, including several traditional taverns. You'll find pancakes, grilled ham, sandwiches, sausage, octopus, artisanal pastries, sausages and many other gastronomic products to taste while you explore Vic’s streets. The commercial and cultural offer of the Medieval Market is complemented by leisure activities of all kinds and for all ages; these include children's activities, music, dancing, craft recreation and street performances. One of the main attractions every year is the the recreation of L'Assalt de l’Altarriba, a story based on historical events that took place in Vic in the 15th century. More than 40 actors take part, and it is staged from a tour of the city's emblematic spaces.

Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Barcelona (Region) Victoria's magnificent leather museum is brand new and spacious. You can admire the displayed items, ranging from chairs to trunks, as well as numerous artifacts spread across two floors. The third floor features a particularly fascinating exhibition. Despite its limited promotion, I believe it should be a must-visit for all schools in the area. I suggest making it more interactive by offering tactile experiences with leather textures, explanations of the processes, or historical films. Oh, and opening a small shop selling leather wallets would make for great souvenirs!

Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Barcelona (Region) The Sant Pere de Vic Cathedral, located in Catalonia, Spain, is a renowned example of European architectural evolution, blending Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles. Originally constructed in the 11th century under the direction of Bishop Oliba, it retains Romanesque crypts and a bell tower from that era. The Gothic cloister from the 14th century and the Baroque Sant Bernat Calbó Chapel further enrich its heritage. In the 18th century, architect Josep Moretó i Codina carried out Neoclassical renovations. The interior is adorned with striking murals created by artist Josep Maria Sert between 1939 and 1945.

Surrounded by forests and the waters of the Sau Reservoir, this hotel is an ideal retreat for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. After visiting Vic, travelers can continue to the 11th-century Monastery of Sant Pere de Casserres. On the way to the Pyrenees, we'll see Olot, Ripoll, and the volcanic area of ​​La Garrotxa, a declared nature reserve.
