This museum is fantastic, showcasing all kinds of opals, including some French ones! It offers an interactive experience with an introductory video and touch-screen tablets (available in French) that provide detailed explanations for all the display cases. The staff are extremely friendly, approachable, and ready to answer any questions. It's definitely worth the trip—even if you don’t have a car—as it’s accessible by train from Brisbane central station, with tickets costing just 50 cents per person!
