Stayed at Fairways for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Sabine, Jeraldine, and Arlene were welcoming and creative, arranging simple decorations in our room. This was my second stay, and the place was still pleasant—clean, especially the beach area, which felt relaxing and refreshing. Mark was proactive in assisting us, and the lifeguard at the infinity pool, along with the nurse, were helpful when I had a minor incident in the pool; they took care of my wound. However, there were downsides. The breakfast was less enjoyable compared to my first visit; while there were still plenty of choices, most were egg-based. It would be great to have someone stationed to maintain cleanliness and manage proper food handling by guests. Also, the waiting time for transport between areas, such as from our room to the beach or gate, was inconvenient. Another issue was with the check-out process. Upon arrival, the staff were very helpful and welcoming, but during check-out, they seemed less accommodating. Consistency in service is important, especially during check-out, as it leaves a lasting impression for guests.

#europetrip Stunning, clean, flat long stretch of sandy beach in beautiful north Devon. Perfect for running or walking the dog as there are compact bits, kids swam on a particular hot day. It's great for paddle boarding. Seen two life guards vehicle on beach. There are plenty of car or caravan parking spaces available in front of beach. Remember it's not free parking lol. Over all one of the great beach I have been to.
