Living in Canada and not wanting to leave, the Rockies are truly healing
Hotels in Banff, Canada, offer views of snowy mountains and lakes right from the window—it's an indescribable shock! Waking up to birdsong in the morning, opening the window to the emerald blue of Lake Louise, with Victoria Glacier behind, the air is as pure as if freshly washed. After staying a week, I felt completely healed and really didn’t want to leave.

❄️ Columbia Icefield Adventure
❄️ Icefield Snowcoach: Ride a giant tire snowcoach up the glacier, an intense experience
❄️ Blue Ice: The glacier is a deep blue because the ice is dense, only blue light passes through, very magical
❄️ Experience: You can touch the ice, wash your hands with glacier water, icy cold, feeling ice from tens of thousands of years ago
❄️ Note: Wear non-slip shoes, the glacier is very slippery, don’t run around, follow the guide
❄️ Time: Allow 2 hours to fully experience it; this glacier is retreating every year, if you go too late it might be gone
❄️ Ticket: Includes snowcoach and glacier walk, about 100 CAD, worth the price

🦌 Jasper Wildlife
🦌 Elk: Most common, can be seen by the roadside, large body, don’t get out of the car, just watch from afar
🦌 Bighorn Sheep: On the mountains, with large horns, very spectacular, often licking salt by the roadside
🦌 Black Bear: In the forest, easier to see at dusk, don’t feed or approach, keep windows closed in the car
🦌 Moose: Less common, very large body, lucky if you see one
🦌 Viewing spots: Bow Valley Parkway, Icefields Parkway, higher chances early morning and evening
🦌 Note: Feeding wildlife is prohibited in national parks, heavy fines apply, observe from a distance without disturbing
