Four Pillars Gin Distillery · If you prefer gin over wine, this place is a MUST! · Their tasting paddle and cocktails are so smooth · Great souvenir shop too – we brought back a bottle of Bloody Shiraz Gin 😍 📍5. Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery 🍫🍦 · Perfect last stop, especially if you’re with kids · Free chocolate tastings, gorgeous garden, and creamy gelato · Warning: you’ll want to buy everything! 🌤️ Weather in March: Cool and sunny – perfect for walking around vineyards and taking photos! Around 18–22°C, so just a light sweater was enough. 🚗 Getting There: We joined a small group tour for the day (booked via Trip.com). Did you know that the Yarra Valley, located about an hour's drive from Melbourne, is a mecca for wine? I took part in a one-day tour of the Yarra Valley, so I'd like to introduce it to you. I took part in a tour, but there is an unlimited bus, so you can use that or rent a car and go around on your own! (I don't recommend renting a car because you can't taste anything🤣😂) On the tour, we were able to taste 4-5 types of wine at each location. This time, we had a packed course with 2 tastings at a winery, 1 gin tasting, and 1 chocolate tasting at a chocolate store❣️I don't know how much the tasting fee is when visiting outside of a tour, so please check for yourself before visiting. 📍Soumah Wines We were able to taste 5 types of wine. You can taste while looking at the view of the vineyards. There are lots of explanations, so it's fun. It's sure to be great if it's sunny!! ! ! ! 📍Four Pillars Distillery For gin tasting. It was fun to be able to choose the juice to mix it with! I enjoyed 4 kinds of gin. The stylish interior was also nice. If you participate alone, you will share a table with other tour guests. That's also fun ☺️ 📍St Hubert's This is where I had lunch. I had pizza. This is not included in the tour price. It was very delicious, but it was crowded with tour guests. 📍Domain Chandon CHANDON Australia Tasting was not included in the tour price. The view is magnificent and very pleasant. It's also a great place to take photos! 📍Yering Farm Wines The interior with a fireplace is warm and comfortable. It's a small place. Here you can sample not only wine but also cider. 📍Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery I was able to sample about 15 kinds of chocolate. I almost got a nosebleed, but I felt happy! They were all very delicious, but my favorite is the simple chocolate from Australia. The rare and mellow taste makes it a perfect souvenir. A one-day schedule that we wholeheartedly recommend to wine lovers. There are many other wineries in the Yarra Valley. #celebratewithtrip Yering is a nice and beautiful place to be at. it feels at peace and tranquil and the views is so nice. I stopped by here before proceeding to their winery to taste out the different variety of wine that they have here. took a short break here to rest and also reflect a little about life. it’s nice and windy but it feels very very peaceful and quiet that it’s good for some self thoughts and reflection. you can also spend some time here taking nice photographs as the view is gorgeous and having it as the backdrop makes everything look better. would recommend visiting this place if you can.
