The total distance is about 120 kilometers, driving takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Ticket discounts: Booking tickets in advance on Trip.com offers Spring Festival special prices, about 15% cheaper than buying on-site. The scenic area has a large parking lot with a fee of 10 yuan/day. Parking spaces are tight during the Spring Festival, so it’s recommended to arrive before 10 a.m. Dining options: There are several restaurants inside the scenic area, but prices are relatively high. Located at the foot of Phoenix Mountain in Conghua, the ultra-luxurious resort estate—Guangzhou Congdu Hot Spring Hotel—is a great place for an early summer vacation with your baby! Driving into the hotel, lush greenery lines the way, the air is fresh, as if you are in a natural oxygen bar, making you feel refreshed and relaxed. After check-in, a shuttle takes you to the room, and the baby excitedly enjoys the scenery along the way. Entering the room, you are amazed by the very high ceiling and the reception room design reminiscent of an international summit, spacious and grand. However, personally, I don’t quite like this style; the facilities seem a bit outdated, and the space is too vast, so you need to keep a close eye on the baby while playing to avoid bumps. The hotel’s swimming pool is a highlight, with clear and clean water. The early summer water temperature is just right for swimming, and the baby plays happily inside. There are fewer guests, making swimming especially comfortable and free. The outdoor hot springs are a specialty of the hotel and require advance reservation. There are six pools, all nitrogen springs but with different temperatures. It is said that this spring water has unique health benefits. The hot spring area is rarely crowded, almost like having the place to yourself. Relaxing in the hot springs with your baby, feeling the gentle warmth of the water, is both pleasant and comfortable. The buffet breakfast and dinner are not very extensive in variety, but the dishes are exquisitely prepared and delicious. The baby especially loves the small desserts at dinner, each one sweet and tasty with no disappointments. Additionally, I recommend Li Jia Niu Zhuang next to the hotel; the dishes are authentic, portions generous, prices affordable, making it very suitable for family dining. A reminder to all moms: avoid the mountain trail hiking project within the estate! There are many mosquitoes and spider webs along the way, and the baby can easily get bitten. The scenery is quite ordinary and not very worth seeing, only adding to fatigue. Overall: If you want to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing vacation with your baby, this is a good choice, suitable for a short stay and relaxation. But the overall vacation experience is average. Although the estate is large, it lacks refined and thoughtful personalized service. For example, the hotel’s family-friendly programs are not proactively explained or guided by the staff, whose attitude is rather indifferent and not very friendly to families with children. From a cost-performance perspective, I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again. The Yingde Baojing Palace Swan Lake Hotel I stayed at before can fully replace it.
