⭐ From late March to early April every year, Baiwang Mountain becomes a popular weekend spot for spring outings. It's the closest to the city center and covered with wildflowers. Two weekends ago, when the mountain peach blossoms were at their peak, it was truly crowded with people. These days, although most of the peach and forsythia flowers have fallen, magnolias and forsythias are already blooming. I went for an off-peak hike this weekend and it felt pretty good. There were fewer people but still plenty of beautiful scenery, so everyone can keep going. ⭐ For the route, it’s recommended to take more of the small trails because the shaded areas in the mountain valleys still have mountain peach blossoms in full bloom. I chose a small loop starting and ending at the East Gate, mostly flat slopes suitable for all ages.
