The buildings consist of: the mill, which is open to the public to visit the facilities. La Extractora, a shop where their oils and artisanal products from the areas are sold. Salon del Esquino, where you can arrange for meetings and meals.
Zahara de la Sierra is a very attractive Andalusia white village, located north of the Grazalema Nature Park, in the province of Cadiz, with an altitude of 510 meters above sea level. The oil mill is the place that lets you learn much about the production of the virgin olive oil.
White Village
Zahara de la Sierra is a municipality in the province of Cadiz, in the hills of Andalusia, southern Spain around 105 kilometers away from Seville. It is perched on the mountain overlooking a valley and man-made lake formed by the dam that must be driven to access the town. It is considered to be one of the white villages, because most of the housings are painted in white.
The Plaza Mayor represents the town centre and there are excellent views of the square from the 16th century clocktower, as well as the lake and surroundings countries side from the nearby mirador.
The white village is an important and photogenic spot, there are some fascinating stone fountains and most of the 16th to 17th century houses are attractiveily decorated with flowers in colourful pots.
