Great location however everything seemed a little tired including the communal kitchen. Toasters didn’t work very well, benches left unwiped, cutlery dirty and put away or left out. Our fridge in our room wasn’t working and so our milk went off and after asking, this still wasn’t replaced straight away. Customer service was good but slow with everything asked about as someone wasn’t always on the desk.
Pool was a nice addition and beds comfy apart from the extra rock solid bed for our third child.
Wouldn’t be back due to lack of working amenities. No extractor fan in room which made it not very nice when someone use toilet and no ventilation in room which resulted in lots of condensation each morning. These are somethings that we expect when we are staying in a motel/hotel.
Upon checking in, we received a bag of feed to give to the alpacas and sheep. The animals were very friendly, and our child had a wonderful time. While you can also feed animals at Agrodome Farm, here it felt like a VIP one-on-one experience. The room was new, clean, and tidy. The host was very responsive and helpful, quickly locating an item we left behind and sending it to our friends in New Zealand.
The hotel is very close to Te Puia Māori Village, just a few minutes' drive away (though I wouldn't highly recommend this attraction for families with young children, as everything is in English and dinner is served quite late, which made our child extremely hungry 🤦🏻♀️).
The owners are a Chinese couple, very warm and attentive. The hotel facilities have a Chinese touch, and I think the power strips are from Bull (a Chinese brand), which saved me the hassle of using an adapter. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience. The location is right by the main road, making it easy to find.
This is a great stay in a perfect location with great views and beaches and walks nearby. Highly recommend this. A very comfy place where they make you feel some where special. Restaurants nearby, the handbook of the hotel is also wonderful. Absolutely loved and would definitely come back. Thanks so much.
This is a really well equipped room and we were very happy with our stay. The room is large and well lit. Comfy big beds and the air-con works well as it gets very warm in the room with the afternoon sun streaming in. We enjoyed the very vocal welcoming cat in reception too! The location is very close to everything you need during your stay.
Would love to have a sealed bottle of milk rather than the pre filled bottle, and there were toenail clippings all over the carpet by my side of the bed and the light bulbs were coated in dust; these were small issues but didn’t detract from what is a great place to stay. A little attention to detail and this place is close to 10/10.
The red rock hot spring hotel in Rotorua, New Zealand, is located close to the main road and is easy to find. It is not far from the supermarket and the bus station. The hotel has a heated swimming pool and a geothermal hot spring cabin. The overall feeling is not bad
The room was clean and spacious. There are microwave ovens and stove utensils, you can make some simple meals. There is a parking lot and parking is convenient. It is quiet and not far from the city. There are many shopping centers and big supermarkets around, convenient for shopping.
We checked in at night and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Fong at the reception—he was very helpful and approachable. Since there were three of us, we booked a double-storey, four-bedded unit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The only downside was the parking area, which was quite small and required some skill to navigate. Mr. Fong kindly offered to assist with parking, but we managed to handle it ourselves. One suggestion: it would be helpful to have more cutlery available in the unit for added convenience.
This is a really nice motel that is in a great location, close to the beach and a scenic hiking spot. There are also several great restaurants nearby (albeit quite pricey).
We spent 3 nights. 6 adults and 1 child. That was just super!!! We were welcomed! The owner was patient, understanding and offered help everywhere! We spent a good stay and we recommend to 1000000%!!!! The places are very correct well maintained and clean ❤️
