We had been- due Corona- the only guests:- excellent food - long conversation with the waiter - personell &amp; warm service (he kalso knew our favourite 893 Restaurant in Berlin (!)Great place- certainly will visit again!

The restaurant is very small and on a side street off Via della Croce near the Spanish Steps so would be easy to miss, but don&rsquo;t. Again the interior is quite basic but don&rsquo;t be put off by that.  And that&rsquo;s because of the food, which is fabulous and is well matched by a comprehensive wine list. Add in a very attentive and friendly restauranteur who responded to the fact it was my wife&rsquo;s birthday and added a desert to share between the 8 of us on the house. This was the best venue we went to in Rome and is worth booking.

Restaurant brings eating to a dining experience.  Old school service brings back real enjoyment of a dining experience. Food and service were excellent. Food served in timely fashion and everything was hot. Dishes prepared with care and great thought was given to presentation

Excellent experience for us! The food and the wine were delicious and the service was fast, done by the Chef himself. Special mention for the Cheesecake on the table!

Pleasant atmosphere, innovative and delicious cooking at still reasonable prices (although the coperto was &euro;3 p.p., higher than usually). We particularly liked the Seafood risotto, Ravioloni, and Branzino fish. And many thanks to Federico for his excellent service with personal touch.

This restaurant was the best find during our 2 day stay at the Tiber Hotel.  So good in fact that we went for dinner two nights in a row. Service was wonderful!  Great wine ,great food! Didn&rsquo;t rush us at all so we were able to enjoy our evening. Do yourself a favour and make a reservation at this gem!

Went there on a family trip to Rome and wanted a local place. A friend suggested this seafood restaurant and it was outstanding. The oysters were absolutely huge and one of several highlights of our meal. It was a memorable experience away from tourist area.

It is worth the while to drive to the restaurant from wherever in Rome. The quality of the food, both seafood and meat, is excellent, the service is impeccable and the ambience is....... just right.

The cocktails at Oro Bistrot are top-notch, and the prices are reasonable for such a prime location. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, making it a must-visit in Rome.

The food and service was amazing and couldn&#39;t have been any better.  Unfortunately on the night there were a number of &quot;no shows&quot; which was disappointing, not for us but the restaurant team. In Ireland you must give your card details when booking and there is a charge if you don&#39;t cancel.

The staff was great and very knowledgeable.  They started us off with a sampler platter as a gift and gave plenty of recommendations based on the questions that we had.  I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks.

They were really good! It was my mom&#39;s 60th birthday and they made everything special singing for her and the dessert was amazing

A hidden gem! Very non-descript but a glance through the door piqued our interest as we walked past mid-afternoon - a display of gorgeously fresh looking seafood in a canteen style restaurant with space for just ten sit down diners. We decided to return in the evening to try it out for dinner with our 3 children (14/13/10). Wow - exceeded all our expectations. The chefs&rsquo; love and pride in their food was evident to see. We had a variety of hot starters (baby octopus/stuffed squid/trio of tartare and the fried calamari) - exceptionally fresh and delicious. Then mixed seafood pasta/shrimp risotto/prawn pasta and grilled sea bream - equally as good. Fresh, hot, devoured by all of us. The grilled fish was particularly excellent, cooked to perfection. Don&rsquo;t expect a &ldquo;restaurant&rdquo; experience - there was some confusion about seating despite the fact we had reserved a table, no particular choice of wine available (but it was very drinkable anyway), all very casual. But this made it all the more authentic as an experience. Throughout our meal, there was a steady stream of locals coming through to pick up an order, which is usually a sure sign success&hellip;&hellip;Thoroughly recommended.
