The noodle stall at the breakfast stand deserves special mention. Their noodles are handmade and freshly pulled, and you can watch the chef at the window; the texture is indeed chewy and springy. The broth is made from beef bones, and the accompanying braised beef is generously portioned, large slices that are stewed until tender. I recommend adding a soft-boiled egg; breaking it open and stirring it into the soup makes it even more flavorful.

The group-buying deal only cost around 80 yuan per person, which was really a great deal. The most surprising dish was the herb-roasted spring chicken. The skin was crispy, but the chicken was so tender that it was juicy. The plum sauce that came with it was just the right amount of sweet and sour. One bite and I felt completely relaxed.

The service was really warm and welcoming; they even gave us some homemade cookies as a gift.
