Located near the university town, the location is easy to find. I tried their signature pickled fish; the fish was plentiful, and the broth had just the right level of acidity, not too overpowering. I recommend adding glass noodles to soak up the broth; it's much more flavorful than eating them alone. A small portion plus two other dishes is enough for two people, costing around 60 RMB per person.
The group-buying price is very student-friendly, perfect for a small gathering with friends. We ordered the signature braised pork belly, which was stewed until tender and flavorful, and it was especially comforting to eat with white rice. The window seats offer a view of the street, and the soft lighting in the evening makes you feel completely relaxed.
The waitresses were really nice, always smiling. The only downside was the slow service; our table waited almost twenty minutes for all the food to arrive. I suggest you go early, or avoid weekend peak hours.
