南唐酱肉火烧(淮军公所A区店)

Located next to the Baibai Building in Nantang Hutong, this restaurant boasts a convenient location. The braised pork buns are tender, flavorful, and crispy. The ambiance is decent; although small, the facilities are complete, the kitchen is open so you can watch the food being prepared, and the staff are friendly and attentive. A braised pork bun, a bowl of tofu soup, or wontons is all you need.

This baked bun is absolutely amazing! The crust is incredibly crispy, not dry at all! The meat is also incredibly tender, and it's so juicy! The three of us ate there for only 10 yuan per person, such a great deal!

This shop was so hard to find! It's tucked away at the very back of an old alley, the storefront is tiny, I almost missed it. But once inside, I found it incredibly clean, and the owner was super nice. He even offered to take photos for me when he saw I was alone, haha.
