This rice noodle shop is much brighter after the renovation! They offer a variety of rice noodle flavors, and I highly recommend their homemade chili oil—it's incredibly fragrant, and spicy food lovers shouldn't miss it. Every time I go, I order a bowl of rice noodles with a roujiamo (Chinese hamburger). This combination is amazing! The roujiamo's crust is crispy, and the meat is flavorful, making it a perfect match for the rice noodles.

I want to emphasize the chili oil; it's not the dry, hot kind, but a fragrant, slightly charred spiciness that really enhances the flavor of the rice noodles. I suggest adding a small amount first, as their spiciness is quite generous. They have many types of rice noodles, but I personally think the classic version goes best with this chili oil. The roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) can be ordered separately; the bun is freshly baked and crispy.

I often come to this Shunliu Rice Noodles restaurant because it's close to home. The portion of potato noodles is quite generous, and I asked for extra sesame oil, which made the flavor just right. It depends on personal taste, but it's alright.
