Baoding Xiaoli Shaomai Restaurant is a well-known, time-honored shaomai shop, characterized by its thin wrappers, generous fillings, and flower-shaped dumplings. It boasts over 30 years of traditional craftsmanship and offers a wide variety of dishes, with shaomai as its specialty. The Dehui Road branch is located at No. 316 Dehui Road, Jingxiu District. It has a small courtyard, and there may be queues during peak hours. The meat and seafood shaomai is highly recommended.

The beef stew with flatbread had a really delicious broth, and the beef was plentiful. The shumai were large, with plenty of filling, and every bite was bursting with flavor. These two dishes are definitely signature dishes; anyone dining here should give them a try.

The Governor's Tofu was absolutely amazing! It was as tender as pudding, and the sweet and savory flavors were perfectly balanced. I could easily eat the whole plate by myself! The ribbonfish was also very flavorful. All the other stir-fried dishes were delicious, no question about it. I'll definitely be a regular here! 🥰
