Take a spontaneous Sichuan-Gansu mini-loop trip 🌄 from Chengdu to Minxian and then to Zhagana. This route offers both adorable giant pandas 🐼 and the tranquility of grassland life&mdash;a fantastic value!

☘️ Chengdu Giant Panda Base

It&#39;s best to arrive before 9 AM and eat breakfast to see the giant pandas at their most active. Admission is 55 yuan. Unfortunately, we didn&#39;t see any baby pandas this trip. 😭 After seeing the pandas, enjoy some local food and then drive or take the high-speed rail to Minxian. We chose the high-speed rail.
🍀 After arriving in Minxian, we checked into a random hotel: Minxian North Bank Smart Hotel.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Located right at the highway intersection, it&#39;s conveniently located for restaurants and offers stunning views of the Lintao River. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with smart devices, and the front desk lady was incredibly friendly. Best of all, the price was affordable&mdash;a fantastic value for money!

After a night&#39;s rest, we headed to the Langdu Wetland Grassland.

It&#39;s about a two-hour drive from Minxian County, so I&#39;m not sure if there&#39;s traffic jams. It&#39;s open year-round. The grasslands are vast and magnificent, and you can enjoy horseback riding and taking photos. Every shot is a masterpiece! Bring a jacket, as the temperature fluctuates greatly on the grasslands, so it can get cold.
Minxian Food Recommendations: Minzhou City Never Sleeps, Minxian
Be sure to try the Minxian specialty noodles and ginger fish. Avoid soaking the fish in fried dough twists, as many outsiders find them difficult to eat. Flower buns are delicious, but buy a small amount, as they spoil easily. The local hand-pulled noodles are truly delicious and worth a try.

1. The drive from Chengdu to Minxian is about 6 hours, so it&#39;s recommended to depart early.
2. UV rays are strong on the grasslands, so remember to bring sunscreen.

I discovered this gem of a hotel, Lando Hotel, while visiting Minxian County! It&#39;s a perfect blend of modernity and comfort! The moment I stepped inside, I felt warm and cozy. The room was so clean, even the corners were sparkling! ✨ The smart voice control is super convenient; just a voice command turns the lights on/off and adjusts the temperature. There&#39;s also a smart toilet and underfloor heating&mdash;a truly blissful winter experience!

Best of all, it&#39;s just a short walk to the super popular Minzhou Night Market 🌃&mdash;perfect for exploring the night market and grabbing some snacks! The receptionist even enthusiastically recommended local food guides! The hotel has a large, free parking lot, making it perfect for road trips 🚗

Attention to detail will absolutely love this place: disposable face towels and toilet seat covers are provided, the bedding is as soft as sleeping on a cloud ☁️, and even the security guard will proactively help with your luggage!

Tips:

1️⃣ Remember to try using voice control to operate all the devices in the room.

2️⃣ Families can choose the family room, which even has a projector.

3️⃣ You can easily hail a taxi outside the hotel, making it super convenient to get to the night market.

4️⃣ Recommended night market snacks: potato jelly and Minxian pastries.
