This fried noodles are amazing! The golden color is so appetizing, the noodles are incredibly chewy, and the side dishes are fresh. The best part is the generous portion size – one serving is enough to fill you up! And the service is super fast; it arrived almost as soon as I sat down. Don't you guys love this kind of wok-fried noodles with that smoky, wok-hei flavor? I always order this when I come here, haha! 😄
The Shaxian noodles were indeed chewy, and the soup was tangy and spicy enough. The taro dumplings had a crispy outer skin and a soft, chewy interior; they were best eaten hot. The average cost was just over thirty yuan per person. If you want a more comfortable meal, go early, otherwise it gets crowded during peak hours.
Go around 2 or 3 pm when it's least crowded, and you can basically pick any window seat. The light is especially good around sunset, perfect for relaxing and daydreaming. I recommend avoiding mealtimes; the experience will be much better.
