Mr & Mrs Bund by Paul Pairet

For Valentine's Day 2026, I chose Mr & Mrs Bund, a long-established Michelin-starred French restaurant. This was my 19th Black Pearl restaurant. The restaurant is located at No. 18 on the Bund. Parking is available in front, in an alley next to the Omega store, which is great, as parking is inconvenient in the Bund area. It's accessible by Metro Line 2. The interior is luxurious, with rose petals on the tables, creating a Valentine's Day atmosphere. The main hall is spacious, and seafood and cocktails are made fresh on-site. Regarding the food: Valentine's Day only set menus are available, ranging from 988 to 2488 yuan. Window seats with a view start at 3000 yuan. The appetizer bread crisps with yellow sauce were savory and even children could enjoy them. The sound of cutting the baguette was pleasant, and the toast was tender and delicious. The foie gras custard was light and refreshing, with a particularly good sauce—a classic French flavor—my wife finished it all. The seafood Bund tower featured fresh seafood in large quantities, with oysters bursting with flavor, and shrimp that were deveined, though it was a bit cold. There were many sauces to choose from, including sourdough bread, which I didn't expect. The steak took a bit long, about 20 minutes. The filet mignon was medium-rare and tender. The sea bass was fresh and delicious, with a rich flavor, initially sweet, then slightly spicy. The accompanying vegetables could be enjoyed with cream and cheese, adding to the overall flavor. The mashed potatoes were creamy and savory, which my child loved and praised. The dessert, a creamy raspberry drink, was made with specially blended cream. The strawberry and raspberry sorbet was a bit cold, but paired well with the warm chocolate lava, creating a pleasant combination. Finally, there's a balcony with a view of Lujiazui, worth taking photos of. The restaurant's alcoholic beverages are also quite good.

[Environment] Very good, suitable for friends and classmates to relax and have a small gathering here, chatting and watching the scenery are very pleasant. [Service] The service is very thoughtful and enthusiastic, Leaf is especially enthusiastic and attentive, and can pay attention to the needs of guests very accurately

Best experience ever. The ambiance, the service, the view and the food. Everything was impeccable. I had the best Lamb Shank of my life. Remember to make booking when you plan to go because they book out rather quick. I will definitely come back, I want to experience all of the wonderfulness allover again.

This restaurant is good overall, and the dishes are affordable and delicious, with a high cost-effectiveness. The restaurant environment is very good, very comfortable, and the waiters are also very nice and considerate. Several people ordered these foods and were full. I will come to this restaurant again next time. It is really cost-effective. I ate very comfortably and happily. I think it is a good restaurant.

This is the first high-end French restaurant I ate in Shanghai. The dim environment, detailed service, and the concept of molecular cuisine are quite pleasantly surprised for the first time! I think the food is better than Joel Robuchon, and the price is relatively low. The lamb chops are delicious! The lemon tart is also very special! And the shrimp in the cup is super delicious

This green restaurant, with environmental protection as its concept, uses fresh and healthy ingredients and its dishes are delicious and tasty. It not only provides customers with delicious food, but also conveys the positive energy of green living, which deserves high praise.
