The broth at this Chaoshan beef hot pot restaurant is truly delicious, with a rich, flavorful taste from simmering beef bones. The beef is freshly sliced, with clearly defined marbling, and only needs to be cooked for 8 seconds. I must mention the satay sauce; it's homemade with a perfect balance of salty and sweet, and it really enhances the flavor of the meat. I suggest not adding any other seasonings yet; try the original satay sauce first, and you'll thank me later.
The Wagyu beef is definitely good; it's the only beef we buy when we have barbecue around here. However, locals don't go to this place much, given the price.
