We never have a problem with the food.  It is always that bit different, well cooked, and well presented.  It is becoming one of our favourite places to eat.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a casual meal. The staff are always welcoming and the food quality is consistently good.

they have some lovely fluffy cats. it&#39;s all very chilled and they have a good system to avoid food contamination. they separate waiting and cat handling staff. Very sensible.

We had a brilliant time at the bottomless brunch! The cocktails were creative and the food was spot on. The service from Megan and Ash was friendly and efficient, making it a delightful experience.

Excellent pub, obviously loved by the locals who booked it out - so make sure you have a reservation. 6.30 seems to be when they all flock in. Our table was for 7pm so we ended up having a bit of a wait and to make an alternative choice for mains as ours was sold out. Well kept cellar - excellent beers and plenty of cocktails available. Will return when next in York
