Amazing cocktails and great food, all seasonal and locally sourced. The staff is very attentive and super fun. The square out front is very nice and not too noisy.

Beautiful restaurant with great romantic atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing and our person who might have been the owner was incredible and super knowledgeable. Would recommend highly as one of the highlight dinners in Florence.

This is our second visit. This time I had the calzone and a nice tall cold beer. My husband had a pizza and it was perfect. Once again we sat in the elegant, comfortable courtyard. Being a Friday night, the place was bustling. It is so warm and friendly place with wonderful food. They are such welcoming hosts you don&rsquo;t feel like a patron you feel like a friend.

Excellent experience. Only annoyance was crying baby in the  enjoining room, but not the fault of the restaurant. Veal scaloppine and veal ossobocco were very good. Limited choice of wine by the glass but they were good selections.

Enjoyed our experience here and went back a second night.  Was in a perfect location near our hotel.  The staff were lovely, helping with menu choices and the food great.  The Fork discount was applied both nights and really helped too!

Outstanding restaurant that has not only superbly prepared dishes but also service that goes well beyond what you would expect in an average restaurant. All this at reasonable prices.. Definitely find your way there if you are in Florence.

what an amazing and awesome d&icirc;ner for the new year eve night. we loved the atmosphere and the traditional look of a real hosteria. the menu was off the hook and the service was so kind and gentle. they could have installed way more people for this dinner but they decided to keep it low key and family home one we did really appreciated this.  a must place to visit if you want to have a traditional look and taste of the Florentine food. thanks a lot

It is not what you expect as you walk in the door. There are different sections so you can do the beer-in-the-street, snappy pizza at th front or casual fine dining in the garden room at the back. There was a warm, inviting atmpsohere, with nice lighting, low music and tasteful surroundings. Our service was excellent and the food was really, really delicious. Wish it was round the corner back home.

The restaurant itself is such a comfortable atmosphere. Two small rooms with candles on the tables that provide an intimate feel and the food was incredible. We had a very nice traditional crostini with liver pate and a pasta dish. I ordered a simple fettuccini with bolognese sauce but there was nothing simple about the fettuccini. It was truly as good or better than any pasta I&#39;ve ever tasted - and I&#39;ve been fortunate to spend a great deal of time in Italy. My wife ordered the pear and pecorino ravioli and reported it to be the best pasta dish she&#39;s ever tasted. So, what began as a quiet, smallish meal turned into one of the finest tasting meals of our weeklong stay in Florence. Don&#39;t be fooled by this little unassuming looking place on the Piazza, see for yourself. I couldn&#39;t give a higher recommendation!

We&rsquo;re staying in Florence for a month and are more than half way through our stay.  Alfredo&rsquo;s served by far the best meal we have had in Florence.  My wife and I shared a caprese salad that was plenty for two, and we each had fettuccine Alfredo for our main course.  The pasta and sauce were fresh and delicious.  We ended our meal with the strawberry tart.We will definitely return for another meal before we leave Florence!
