This restaurant is inside Hotel Renaissace at Permas Jaya Johor Bharu. A lot unique meal inside this restaurant and one of the special meal is peking duck. Very good taste and almost same as beijing peking duck taste. Inside this restaurant, is very luxury restaurant with good services.

Number 1 problem. Parking is in Holiday Villa car park.  I parked at level 2 1/2.  It cost RM6/hour. The entry to the restaurant is at the back of holiday villa. Reception and kitchen (with glass window seeing how the cooks work) are on the ground floor.  Seating is at the upper level. A clean and elegant traditional Chinese tea house setup. The waiters/waitresses are foreigners!!!   There are better XLB elsewhere. The siew mai is dry. The porridge is without salted egg. The hakau is ok. We liked the Chee Cheong fun (shrimp paste is poorly) and the radish cake with very nice bean sprouts. The chili sauce provided is not spicy.

Found this cozy bungalow turned into restaurant cafe 3 mins away from ksl and other viral cafes in Taman Melodies which has been operate for almost 4 years in business. And it was truly a hidden gem! Their Nasi Ayam Belado was totally to die for, creamy curry with crispy fried chicken, apparently was a homage recipe passed from the 40s. Tiramisu:The best I&rsquo;ve ever had, so soft, generously soaked in espresso, so creamy and it is more like a wet texture rather than the normal dry texture. They also serve other fusion dishes like coffee, westerns, pasta and comforting rice. Overall, it was quite a lovely experience dining in Johor Bahru with such lovely service and atmosphere.
