It was founded by the founder of the once most popular Sakura Restaurant. This restaurant has now become one of the best places to taste Malaysian food. The owner is the 80-year-old Peranakan sister Guan, and her signature dish is her secret nasi lemak. In addition, authentic foods such as fried kway teow, satay, rojak, curry noodles, etc. can also be tasted in this restaurant. Today, my sister&#39;s first proper meal!

Raw beef tartare, delicious! It is a dish specially recommended by the boss. Raw beef is mixed with cheese, egg liquid and special sauce, stirred and spread on bread. The bread slices are crispy, and the beef is very fresh and tender, without any fishy smell.

The Libaoxuan restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur is personally prepared by the famous Malaysian chef Ricky Thein. The dishes are beautiful and tasty, especially the lamb chops, which fully retain the tenderness of Australian lamb during cooking and also soak the meat with a special sauce. Beta in Kuala Lumpur was an incredible dining journey through Malaysian flavors. Each dish felt like a tribute to a different region—familiar tastes, but reimagined with so much creativity. マレーシア料理といえどもお酒も提供しており、お洒落なカクテルも充実。ノンアルコールカクテルもあるので、飲めない人でも大丈夫です。スイカとミントのノンアルコールカクテルが南国らしく美味しかった🍉

デザートに出てきたカヤトーストとコピは、私の知っているいつもの朝食メニューを新たに再構築したもの。全ての料理がここでは新しい形で表現されており、ユニークな出会いに溢れていました。

少しお高めではありますが、日本で食べると数倍の値段になるはず。旅行で来たら行く価値ありのオススメ店です👍

Beta is a Michelin restaurant near KLCC that features ingredients from all around Malaysia. It is a great way to experience food with different tastes and textures, and you really get a "taste" of Malaysia! The setting can be romantic depending on where you are seated, and the staff are knowledgeable about the food they serve. The wine and mocktail pairing is perfect - the drinks complementing the dishes exquisitely. Even after paying supplements for the abalone fried rice and wagyu beef, this stll counts as one of the more affordable Michelin meals we had as a couple.#michelin #kualalumpur

Really great food and friendly service, but two problems. One can be solved by training and one is a longer-term fix.

Service during the meal was impeccable. After the meal, the female bartender came to our table with a bottle of Malaysian whiskey and two glasses with ice. She offered us a pour and the way she talked to us, it sounded complimentary. We were done eating and drinking and did not order anything else. We tried a sip of it and didn't like it. I was surprised when the bill came to see an 80 MYR charge for the whiskey and told the waiter that. The waiter chuckled nervously, but didn't call the manager over or offer to address the issue. In retrospect, I wish I asked for the manager and had them remove the charge from the bill.

The second feedback is that the restaurant needs its own bathroom so Beta can control the cleanliness. You currently have to leave the building and go across to the adjacent building, which has a very hot and dirty bathroom. There was no toilet paper, a window was open which meant rain had soaked the stall, and the urinals were out of order. Beta is a Michelin-starred restaurant and should have a bathroom commensurate with the dining room quality and design.

Our total bill was 2,100 MYR ($450 USD).
