The freshly baked Pipa duck has firm and elastic meat and crispy skin. It is really different when it is freshly baked. It is delicious! It is better to come early than to come at the right time. Old shops are all treasures. How can a restaurant that has been open for more than 30 years not be delicious?

This buffet is pretty good. My kids saw it and said it was great. It&#39;s inside the Shangri-La and there are a lot of food, including roast chicken, sushi, salmon and the like. The prices are about the same as in China. The main thing is that there are not many people eating here and you can eat as much crab as you want.

We were staying upstairs at THERED, and this was our last meal before leaving. We&#39;d previously eaten at a Malay place, but perhaps the fried and spicy food wasn&#39;t to my Chinese palate, so this place was pretty good. It was a little after noon, and after a short wait, we were there. The two meals cost around 50 RMB via Alipay. The last three pictures are from a restaurant with a lot of Malays (around 80 RMB). I wasn&#39;t used to the food, but there were still a lot of locals. A Cantonese friend who couldn&#39;t even handle Cantonese spicy food was passing by, haha.

刚刚出炉的琵琶鸭，肉质扎实又有弹性，鸭皮够脆口。新鲜出炉果然不一样，好吃！真是来的早不如来的巧。老店都是宝。一家开了三十几年的餐厅怎么能不好吃。

双子塔上面的马来西亚餐厅，里面的沙爹肉串很好吃哦，奶茶做的也不错哦，要了一份叻沙，超级地道哦，里面的鱼饼也很好吃的哦，鸡蛋配上辣汤。

Brought a few Thai friends out to this 2 times Michelin Select Peranakan restaurant in Kuala Lumpur to enjoy some local delights and we ordered their satay and pie tee for appetizer, gerang asam fish, ayam berempah, pongteh chicken, sambal kangkung and telur cincalok for main and a cendol for dessert.

We felt the gerang asam fish was good, and so was the ponteh chicken and telur cincalok, satay has room for improvement while the ayam berempah, pie tee and cendol was not too bad.

Jalan Doraisamy, located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s city centre, is a vibrant spot filled with unique eateries, cafes, and bars. Last weekend noon, I went there with my local friends for a casual foodie outing.

We started with lunch at my favourite restaurant, Limapulo – a popular and quaint Michelin-mentioned Peranakan restaurant. The place has a rustic charm with vintage decor, dim lighting, and an atmosphere that instantly evoke nostalgia. Their Melaka-inspired Peranakan cuisine is simply delightful. 

The Nyonya Laksa was a true standout, rich and flavorful, while the signature Chicken Satay came with a unique homemade sauce made from star fruits and pineapple. We also shared some Pai Tee, all of which were absolutely satisfying!

Found this hidden gem near our hotel! The baba food has 1 Michelin star ⭐️ and the food is sooo sooo gooood! They sell halal produce even though not certified. Seems like a lot of people ordered the Nyonya laksa which we tried but felt that it was normal. However they gave many ingredients which will keep you full.

All in all, very happy and satisfied meal! ☺️😋

Side note: They also rescued kittens and helped to put them up for adoption! Too sweet!

read about this place on numerous website when searching of Nyonya food in KL, often enough restaurant Limapulo Baba Can Cook pops up, so hence came to explore! They are famous for their Laska, the favor of coconut is rather pronounce compared to those from Singapore. the Sambai Petai Sotong, the sotong look quite ￼miserable but the taste were damn good. I always have the affection with Sambal Kangkung but really bad, tasted flat and with stone. last but not least the Chandon, despite quite petit in size but surely a yum!
