The food and views of the water are what makes this places a really good choice. The service was a little slow but tolerable. Only a short walk from the central train station. I would recommend this place.

The simple decor in the restaurant lets the food shine. Everything we had was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and delicious. Super friendly staff were efficient despite the restaurant being packed. We will definitely eat here again!

Wonderful service, food and ambience at a reasonable price. This is a gem of a restaurant nicely located in a pleasant part of Amsterdam. The nicely decorated dining room is on an upper level above the kitchen. Halibut starters were delicately flavoured and nicely presented, while the steak was properly cooked, with plenty of red. We had a nice leisurely dinner. Recommended!

This place is really a hidden gem! The food is incredible, and the staff is amazing! They were all really kind! The prices are ridiculously low for the quality of the food served and for the portions! I absolutely recommend the Butter Chicken!!! Being from New York I was a little skeptical about an &quot;American Diner&quot; in Holland - but  was pleasantly surprised! The decor has a fun, almost 1950&#39;s vibe and the food and service was great! Not your typical &quot;diner food&quot; though (that&#39;s not a bad thing!). I had the carpaccio starter and chicken fajitas as a main and both were delish, as were the desserts! I will definitely go back to try out the lunch menu with my kids - although I miss some classic diner choices  like omelets and french toast... Definitely recommend!

Excellent service and food! The chef was very nice, made every dish using finesse, taste, and took time to explain us  about the dish. The experience was nice and relaxing environment.I would recommend to go with the 6course Menu! its definitely worth the value in comparison with the others menus.

Delicious food for a group of 8 of us visiting from the UK.  We all agreed it was the best Mezze we had eaten for as long as we could remember.  The group had the mixed Mezze followed by the casseroles or the mixed grills. Everyone was happy! A total gem of a neighbourhood restaurant.

The food was very good, and the wine selection is definitely recommended. The staff is knowledgeable and adds to the overall experience.

This centrally located restaurant serves delicious meat cooked to perfection, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive.

We were directed to another restaurant just cross the street which belongs to the same owner - Amigo Steak restaurant. The steak was very nice, tender and juicy. We ordered lomo 500 gram  for 2 person and it was enough. Empanadas was tasty - two medium size in a portion. Gambas was served with garlic mushroom sauce. It was fresh and the sauce was well-marinated. Tiramisu and frites are standard taste. Frisdranks are cold but the beer could be more colder.

This relaxed seafood restaurant provided a delicious meal at reasonable cost. I had moules which were in a delicious sauce and my husband had a reallybeautifully cooked piece of haddock.

This was our first visit to Namaskar on recommendation of our friend and oh my gosh, we were impressed. We came out with our stomachs full, appetite satisfied and heart full of joy. There has never been an ambience so calm and soothing and dishes so full of Indian flavours. We would definitely keep visiting this place in the future.

We completely enjoyed the food in this restaurant.  The mixed platter gave an excellent variety and provided a great sampling of what the restaurant is capable of.  The service was attentive but not at all overwhelming.  We highly recommend this restaurant as it became one of our best dinners in Amsterdam.

Our experience was outstanding. The reserved table had a sign with our name on it, staff was super attentive, the food was absolutely awesome and the final bill was reasonable by current standards and comparison to other restaurants and similar meals. We&rsquo;d go back in a heartbeat!
