We have been coming to Marriott&rsquo;s Praia D&rsquo;el Rey Resort for many years.  The hotel, the grounds, the rooms and the service are all excellent.  We try to time our stay when the  Emprata Restaurant is open because it is a 5*+ experience every time. The room is beautiful with its ocean and sunset views. The menu choices include fish and meats. Eduardo, the restaurant host, is remarkably attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and is determined to provide the best dining experience possible.  He has made every meal perfect and his knowledge of wines is an added touch. The chef, Bernardo Vitorino, is extraordinary and super creative. The mixture of textures and flavors, combined with the visuals of a picture perfect presentation, is memorable. Emprata is fine dining at its best!

I highly recommend this restaurant for its quality food and friendly atmosphere. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, adding to the overall dining experience.

All members of staff were very friendly and welcoming. Roberto was particularly attentive to our requests, and the service was great!The location was lovely, with nice views of the golf course and the sea. All in all, my husband enjoyed his birthday lunch - especially the chocolate brownie with ice cream and candles!!

Celebrated my husband&rsquo;s birthday at the restaurant. It was a beautiful day and the view was wonderful. The servers were nice and attentive (especially Eduardo). The bacalhau and the roasted veggies were very tasty. The burger was just ok. Overall it&rsquo;s worth a visit. We&rsquo;ll be back.

Great food quality and good experience/ambiance. But there is no doubts that is an expensive restaurant.

This culinary team truly deserves a Michelin star for their creativity and exceptional taste. The reasonable prices for such quality make it a must-visit.

Dining in a medieval castle is a unique experience! The surroundings are excellent, and the service is on point. The food, particularly the tenderloin beef, was cooked to perfection.

Merkado offers a beautiful location with a stunning view of the lagoon, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food is fresh and made with local ingredients, which is a big plus!

When I entered in the restaurant I was a bit surprised about the ambience, decoration and service. It was a nice surprise. The food is good and the presentation also.

Visited the restaurant for the third or fourth time on Friday 21st April 2023. The food was delicious as on previous occasions. Very quiet but really enjoyable evening.  Staff are always friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend. Will be back in August!

The food was delicious, and the service was stellar. They celebrated my husband&rsquo;s birthday with champagne and chocolate mousse. Will definitely go back!

The staff were amazing! excellent service, the food is as fresh as you can possibly get and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. They even brought a cake as a surprise. We&#39;ll definitely return.

overall very nice venue and interesting food. We enjoyed everything, although the teaspoon (literally) of hummus was a definite disappointment. Both meat and tuna bolo de caco were delicious.

Nice atmosphere and very good food!It&rsquo;s very difficult to find good vegetarian options in most of the Portuguese restaurants but not in Vestigium. We had chickpea curry and it was amazing!

Our second time visiting Nazare and our second time visiting this restaurant. We love the food and the owners are the sweetest! The three milk cake is a MUST try for dessert.

Great place. Not very visible from the road so keep an eye out to find the entrance.Stone walls with wooden structures and nice medieval setting. Classic relaxing/soothing Portuguese Fado playing in the background.Good food for reasonable prices. The portions were good, not too exaggerated. Very good selection of wines. Had an italian Champagne. Deserts are very generous portions. Fast service, with on the spot cooked fresh meals, surprisingly quick.If ever on the area will consider returning.
