The hotel in Bayleaf Hotel, where my parents stayed for two nights when they came to the Philippines, is next to the Spanish Royal City, and the restaurant overlooks the Royal City. The breakfast is a buffet with rich food. Just tell me your room number, and the staff are very friendly.
The selection is not huge but seems to be enough and the taste is ok. What I like about this place is the ambience. You are in the middle of the historic Intramuros, not far from the church and you can see the nice view of Manila at night. Good for date night.
The location is super good. It provides buffet with a wide variety of dishes. The seafood is fresh and tastes good, but the price is a bit expensive.
