The food is not fancy but really good price quality ratio, huge portions, very nice atmosphere.  Had a delicious vegetarian salad, good pizza and desserts.

We spent our first night in Lagos at Real Portuguese and it did not disappoint! We sat outside. The inside is lovely as well. Very quaint. In Old Town but out of the craziness and touristy areas. A more laid back, upscale experience. The service though a bit slow at times was welcoming and efficient. Food was excellent. I had the octopus and my husband had the filet mignon. Highly recommend!

Great views and food! Repeat dining and not disappointed. We were not asked about water and besides the minor issue, we would definitely go back. Great food and views!

Excellent, efficient and friendly service. I got the chicken linguine which was so light and delicious. We had reserved the 6.30 slot so had the choice of inside or out but it did get very busy later on so would recommend you reserve. Would go back as there was so much to choose from.

Great service. Nothing too much trouble. Food was some of the best I&#39;ve enjoyed including our visit to Southern India last year. I like the way the waiter listened to our preferences and tastes and made recommendations accordingly. Really tasty dishes all uniquely flavoured. Absolutely worth a visit when in the Algarve. I wish Indian restaurants in the UK were as good as this.

Restaurante Villa Velha ended up being one of the best dining experiences of our entire trip.The paella was hands-down the best we&rsquo;ve ever had. But what really set the experience apart was the chef himself&mdash;a warm, passionate Spaniard who took the time to explain every detail behind the dishes. We learned that the pata negra was aged for 3 years, and the razor clams came from a local cove where the salt levels in the water are unusually high&mdash;giving them a more intense flavor and delicate size.The Catalan cream and cheesecake were also exceptional&mdash;light, flavorful, and clearly made with care.You can feel the heart in this place, from the food to the people. If you&rsquo;re looking for an authentic, memorable meal while in the Algarve&mdash;book this place.

We have regularly dined in Hamburgueria B&amp;B while staying in the area. The staff are great, the restaurant is a library of world craft beers &amp; the food is amazing. The burgers are so tasty &amp; home made!! They have a really good menu. They also have a burger of the month special and we managed to enjoy their October &amp; November offers that were delicious. They marry flavours so very well that you can&rsquo;t put your burger down after the first bite!!! I was spoiled with their gluten free options too. (Bun &amp; chips) Loved their fresh salmon burger I had yesterday evening. We can also recommend their cheese cakes!!! So fresh &amp; wonderfully homemade. We highly recommend a visit&hellip;you&rsquo;ll be hooked !!!

Food was fresh. Ordered prawn salad, chicken wrap, salmon wrap and Golfland burger and everything was fresh and tasted great.

Wonderfully charming and homey ambiance you feel as though you&rsquo;ve walked into someone&rsquo;s dining room. One suggestion take a taxi as getting here can be challenging, it&rsquo;s located in a residential neighborhood with very steep hills and narrow streets. And our GPS got confused and we drove around in circles. It&rsquo;s a set menu for 38&euro;, 7 courses, five starters and two mains one fish and meat. All of the dishes are authentic Portuguese cuisine and mostly seafood. Truly fresh ingredients, some highlights fresh clams in a garlic butter sauce, lightly battered shrimp, fresh fish with homemade pasta in a light broth with piri piri and cilantro. The pork on the bone in a light stew was so incredibly tender and juicy.The mini dessert sampler was fantastic! The almond crunch was fantastic as was the lemon and carob cakes. The service was excellent and our waiter is the son of the owner&rsquo;s and his Mom is the chef who we met and thanked her for a truly phenomenal and special meal.

The food was amazing and the service was so great and very personable. Waiter suggested we head upstairs for the sunset on the roof before having dessert. 10/10

Everything was as good as ever, it was extremely busy hence service was a little slow however as we were on holiday it was no biggie and a good time was had by all

If you haven&rsquo;t done your homework you will never find this little gem. It&rsquo;s down a back street off the main drag where if you like delicious food you would avoid. The atmosphere is welcoming with a lovely buzz. The staff are happy and proud of what they serve you. The fresh fish is out of this world especially the seafood rice and the catch of the day. We returned to the Indian Garden after having been there a few weeks before and still not disappointed with the food and service.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is lovely, and the grilled dishes are well-prepared. Although the prices are slightly higher, the quality of the food makes it worth it.

Located Outside the tourist district but deserves to be highly recognized. Food was delicious and beautifully presented from appetizers to main dishes. We had the fried squid strips, pork truffle balls, black squid linguine with shrimp and pork belly . All were amazing. Service was great as well.

We were recommended Bella Rosa from fellow holidaymakers.  We enjoyed our visit so much that we returned on our last night.  The food is delicious and the staff are so helpful and friendly.  Would definitely recommend you visit when in Carvoeiro.

Good quality food and flavour (Chicken ceasar salad, mushroom risotto, burger). Happy that offer an early dinner time with a bit of a view of the sunset. Will go back again.
