The food was absolutely delicious, every bite bursting with flavor. The views of the palace from the rooftop terrace were breathtaking, making the entire dining experience even more special. Our favorites were the signature crab curry with shrimp chips, which was incredibly fresh and delicious; and the coconut ice cream, which was simply divine.
The short ribs were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth on the inside, leaving a lasting impression; the Wagyu beef Thai basil fried rice was also incredibly tender—it's rare to find beef this tender. Tom Yum soup with gulam fish and smoked mushrooms is one of my favorites, as is the blue crab curry with crunchy garland lilies. The various flavors and textures were handled with great care, creating a refined and elegant experience. In the evening, we dined while enjoying the view of Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha); the golden temple against the deep night sky was breathtakingly beautiful.
Nusara Bangkok, ranked among Asia's 50 best restaurants, is located next to Wat Pho. The cuisine originates from the chef's grandmother's traditional family recipes, blending them with Thai royal cooking techniques. The blue crab curry and tom khat soup are unforgettable, with delicate layers of spices. The dining experience is ceremonial, with a terrace offering views of the ancient temple, providing an immersive experience of sophisticated Thai cuisine that combines heritage with innovation.
