The Good View Bar & Restaurant

The Good View Bar & Restaurant is one of the three well-known restaurants along the Mae Ping River in Chiang Mai. It is both a bar and a restaurant. You can enjoy the charming night scenery of the riverside while enjoying delicious food and live singing. It is so comfortable. ​​​

I walked all the way there. There were a lot of people, the business was booming, the food was delicious, and the price was moderate! A very emotional music restaurant! The water spinach was spicy, and the lemon fish was tender. I recommend it. The dishes were OK, and I sat by the lake.

This restaurant is famous for its beautiful ambiance and is a popular spot in Chiang Mai. The entrance is gorgeous; when I left at night, the lights were on, and with the fountain at the entrance, it felt like a castle! You can enjoy your meal while admiring the scenery.

Good view is a restaurant that the locals took us to. We ate there on my birthday. We booked a KTV room and sang while eating. It was a combination of northern Thai specialties and Western food. The highlight was that there were many Chinese songs to sing, and the environment was good.

Having dinner by the river at sunset is quite romantic. You should arrive around 5 pm, otherwise riverside seats will be booked quickly. It's best to make a reservation in advance via email. As for the food... well, it's fairly authentic Thai cuisine, meaning the flavors are slightly stronger than restaurants in the old city. This might lower the score for picky eaters, but it's a good choice for those who enjoy international flavors.
