Canal Wetland Park Review

Canal Wetland Park is located in Taierzhuang District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, surrounded by the ancient city of Taierzhuang, with an area of 2,600 hectares. The park is mainly composed of river wetlands such as the lower reaches of Taogou River, the lower reaches of the Dasha River flood distribution road in Yucheng, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Section between the two estuaries. The first wetland park in China with the theme of canal wetlands is dedicated to maintaining the ecological balance of wetlands, protecting the ecological functions of wetlands, ensuring the water quality and wetland biodiversity of the canal, and achieving sustainable development of the ecosystem. The main attractions are ancient city water town culture, Baihe Garden viewing, canal water upstream, Taogou River wetland tour.

Taierzhuang Ancient City, located in the center of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, is located in the junction of Taierzhuang District and Lusu Yu-Qiu Province, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. The ancient city began in Qin and Han, developed in Tang and Song Dynasty, and prospered in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is known as the "first Zhuang in the world".

The lotus leaves are infinitely blue, and the lotus flowers are three or two branches. In mid-August, the season of lotus bloom has been missed. The Taierzhuang Canal Wetland Park in Zaozhuang City is the first wetland park in China, which mainly consists of canal wetland. It mainly consists of the lower reaches of the Taogou River, the lower reaches of the Dasha River diversion channel in Fucheng and the Jinghang Canal between the two estuaries. It surrounds Taierzhuang City and is a typical river wetland. The total planned area is 2592 hectares. Its nature orientation is based on the protection and restoration of wetland resources, taking the wetland ecosystem and historical culture of Taierzhuang Canal as the main landscape resources, and comprehensive wetland parks with wetland sightseeing, popular science education and vacation leisure as the main contents.
