The National Museum is a courtyard-style building with ethnic characteristics, simple and spectacular. It has six main exhibition halls and two motorized exhibition halls, as well as a national crafts mall and studio. Each exhibition hall displays various cultural relics, ethnic folklore objects, historical pictures and materials, reflecting the political, economic, cultural and local customs of the Li and Miao people from the Neolithic period to the liberation of Hainan. And their history of building Hainan with the Han people. The National Museum opened in 1986. Entering the museum, there are several huge Li Jin hanging decorations on the front, the Jin is embroidered with the Li people's marriage, farming and other life scenes, the bottom cloth is black self-dye cloth, above with red, green, white thread embroidered into a variety of geometric patterns. All the buildings in the museum are connected by a cloister, while in the middle is a small garden. The appearance, clothing, decorations, weaving methods, musical instruments, treatment and other lifestyle habits and customs of the Li people in the exhibition hall are similar to those of Taiwan's Ameri and Taiya ethnic minorities, so you can also learn about some customs of Taiwan's ethnic minorities from the side when you visit the museum.
