After arriving at the airport, we took a taxi to the Vinpearl Cable Car, which is located in the same building as the cable car station. Different hotel reception desks are all in that same building. After finding the hotel front desk, a speedboat took us to Hon Tam Island. We stayed in room 1228, which had a sea view that was quite off to the side. The bathroom was outdoors, and there were gaps between the walls and the ceiling. As many have mentioned, the environment is beautiful with lots of greenery, so it's inevitable to encounter small animals. We found small frogs, geckos, spiders, and mosquitoes in the bathroom. I don't mind, but if you're afraid of these, it's best to be mentally prepared. It's highly recommended to bring an electric mosquito repellent.
The sea is truly beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking every day. We also saw people snorkeling; it's best to bring your own equipment. We bought a mud bath package through the hotel, which included pickup and drop-off service. The hotel restaurant prices are relatively higher than in the city, and the selection isn't extensive. The hotel staff's English is quite basic. Our room service order was incorrect, but their attitude was very good.
We chose this hotel because we needed a place to rest with the kids before our late-night flight on the last day, and it exceeded our expectations. Its proximity to the airport made getting around very convenient, and the swimming pool was large and well-maintained, which was a big plus. The landscaping from the resort to the beach was particularly impressive. We also stayed at Alma Resort and Movenpick on this trip, and this place was every bit as good, keeping us busy taking photos. The room was clean and comfortable; in fact, we almost wished we could have stayed longer. If I hadn't been traveling with a child, I would have loved to stay here longer and enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.
Face hotel, fair prices it was hard to get extra bottles of water in the room, though
Super nice, huge tubs, but took literally an hour and a half to fill
We would definitely go back if we came back to the area

The hotel is very conveniently located right in the city center, on the first line. We stayed in a Grand Studio, which was very spacious and comfortable with magnificent views. The pool is on the 6th floor, and the breakfast restaurants are on the 4th and 5th floors. There are a lot of guests, so you often have to wait for the elevator. The beach is across the road; they provide beach towels and there are a few umbrellas available. The breakfast food is delicious with a wide selection. Overall, we liked everything.
It's very far from everything. Even the large pool is a 25-30-minute walk by buggy. Breakfast was good, but dinner was a complete disappointment; nothing tasted good. Halfway through, a huge cockroach crawled onto the sofa behind my husband! The staff tried to catch it, ruining my mood and appetite, and the hotel didn't even apologize. It was unpleasant. We ordered an extra bottle of wine for dinner, but we were surprised to find they added a hefty fee on top. The menu price was one, but the actual price was 15% higher. Tea and coffee weren't provided until check-in. I booked a single villa with a pool, but we were actually put in a villa with three separate bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, and a shared pool. On our last day, the phone didn't work, and we had to scramble to find the staff and send a buggy for our luggage. We won't be going there again.

The hotel is located on a lively street surrounded by many shops, cafes, and restaurants. You can even enjoy karaoke with live music until morning! The staff are polite, pleasant, and accommodating. The room is small, and there's construction nearby which unfortunately disturbs the peace. The pool is warm, but it was so crowded I couldn't really swim. Breakfast is decent, though there's no fruit; you can choose between juice or eggs.

The stay at Comodo Nha Trang Hotel was extremely comfortable and met all expectations of a true five-star hotel. The ocean-view room on the 22nd floor with a balcony was a highlight, offering a beautiful direct view of the sea and a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious, modern, and well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent and consistent every day. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with a wide selection of fresh and high-quality Western and Asian dishes. Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, professional, and attentive, making the stay feel smooth and welcoming. The location was convenient, and the overall environment was calm and luxurious. It is a great choice for travelers looking for comfort, quality service, and a pleasant seaside stay.

Vinpearl Empire Nha Trang by Meliá was our second hotel in Nha Trang, following our stay at Vinpearl Resort on Vinpearl Island. Overall, it offers a comfortable and convenient city stay with several strong points.
The price is reasonable for what you get, and the location is excellent — right in the heart of the city. Our deluxe room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out for a simple yet comfortable stay. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, which is always a big plus for me. The highlight, however, was the view. From the higher floors, the scenery is absolutely stunning and truly elevates the experience.
Most of the facilities are located on the 6th floor. The swimming pool is beautiful and decently sized, making it a pleasant place to relax. There is also a restaurant on the same floor, though we didn’t get the chance to try it during this stay. Families will appreciate the kids’ room with activities, which is very convenient for parents. The presence of an on-site clinic for emergencies is also reassuring.
Check-in took a little longer than expected, as the hotel was quite busy at the time. Unfortunately, the attitude of one of the concierge staff during check-in left us slightly put off. During check-out, we requested for our luggage to be brought down, but one staff member insisted that we personally follow him all the way up to retrieve it and then return to the lobby. While we understand that there may be procedures to follow, the manner in which it was communicated felt rather uncomfortable. Thankfully, another staff member quickly stepped in, kindly offering to bring our luggage down while we rested in the lobby. That gesture made a meaningful difference and was truly appreciated. I understand that hotel staff can be busy, but a gentler and more professional approach would greatly enhance the guest experience.
One additional area for improvement would be the hotel’s scent. The aroma used throughout the hotel may feel uncomfortable for some guests and comes across as rather dated. Perhaps exploring a fresher, more contemporary fragrance would better suit modern preferences.
Overall, Vinpearl Empire Nha Trang offers great value, a fantastic location, and beautiful views. With some refinements in service consistency and ambience, it could easily become an even more enjoyable stay.

We had an amazing time at the resort!
We arrived at the airport in Nha Trang and got picked up by a private shuttle, which was very helpful as the resort is a bit further away from the city. Before we arrived the customer happiness manager texted me on WhatsApp and made sure everything was organised for our arrival. Also throughout our stay he was always available and reacted within minutes to help us with absolutely everything we needed. From food menu reservations at the restaurant over the shuttle service to booking a spa treatment.
Also we had an invasion of tiny ants in our room and he immediately send someone to solve it and then changed our room to a brand new bungalow, which we really appreciated. This has definitely nothing to do with the cleanliness. The whole resort is taken great care of and the rooms are very clean.
Also all the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They offer a large variety of healthy and delicious food and could easily adjust some menus or dishes to my vegetarian diet.
Overall this is such a great place! 100% recommend.

Great
MManbahaowangbiThe hotel is in a prime location, very new, and the facilities are quite good. The breakfast spread is excellent!
There are many food options downstairs, but it was hard to choose. I was probably tired and didn't feel like venturing out, so I ended up just grabbing something quick. The only thing I tried that was an experience was crocodile meat. Everything else was uninteresting. It took half the day to get a bite to eat, and the ingredients weren't great. I won't be eating there again.
WwwssxxThe hotel is located on Hon Tre Island, offering a quieter environment compared to the city. The resort facilities are comprehensive, with lush greenery and beautiful flowers artfully arranged. The pool, beach, and ocean fulfill all vacation needs. It doesn't feel old or moldy; quite the opposite, it feels rather new, making me wonder if it's been renovated. The breakfast selection is incredibly varied and delicious. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, making for a fantastic stay.
AAnonymous UserPurely in terms of room quality, it's definitely not as good as the Ibis Styles hotels I've stayed in before in Thailand, or even the regular Ibis. The room looked a bit dated, but it was still acceptable. Having a pool at this price point and hotel type is a bonus. Although it's not a direct beachfront view, the location is excellent; it's convenient to go anywhere and very close to the beach. They provide toothbrushes and non-disposable flip-flops, but when I called to ask for a razor, I was told they don't provide them.
SSerchmaadorjI stayed at Libra Hotel for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of food options to choose from every morning. The ocean view from the hotel was very beautiful and made my stay even more special.
The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was very important and comfortable. The room was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. The staff were very kind, friendly, and always ready to help.
The location is also excellent — close to the night market and the city center, making it very convenient to explore the area.
I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again
GGuest UserThe main benefit is definitely the location, it's not far from the the downtown of Nha Trang, so in comparison to other resorts, here you can order a taxi and get to the city center within 10-20 minutes. The resort itself is great, everything is new and clean, very scenic view from the lobby, the staff is polite and caring. Breakfasts are tasty. The terrirory (beach and alleys) is not big, but on the other hand the resort has two swimming pools, so it was easy enough to find a sun lounger even during busy hours.
I would recommend this type of vacation experience for families with children, as imho for couples and lone travellers this kind of resort would be a little bit boring and for the families with kids all conditions are provided: children can enjoy the swimming pool and parents can chill under the sun.

GGuest UserSo glad I came to this hotel. Everything was perfect. The breakfast had everything you needed and delicious desserts. There were options for how you want eggs made and noodles, as well as a chocolate fondo.
Room was upgraded to the ocean facing which was spacious and equipped with chairs to sit and stare to the horizons.
Beach was clean and calm. The hotel has a set location to the left of the sailing club when you walk out. Show them your room card for a towel and if you want the sunbed, pay an additional 100K vnd and its yours till 4pm due to local rules.
The staff are friendly and hospitable all the time.
Thank you for a good stay
YYiwozhiming, jixuqianxingI stayed here for one night. The room was very spacious, though the bathroom was a bit small, it was still acceptable. The room came with instant coffee and green tea, which I enjoyed, along with bottled water, a safe, and a refrigerator. From the window, I could enjoy mountain views, and the room was generally quiet. Overall, the in-room facilities met my needs.
The hotel offers a complimentary gym and an outdoor swimming pool. It seemed to be mostly used by Russian guests, but they were generally quiet. There's also a spa available for a fee.
The hotel provides a complimentary buffet breakfast, served daily for about 3 and a half hours in the morning. The buffet featured a wide variety of dishes, including local Vietnamese options like pastries and pho (which were palatable for Chinese guests), stews and fried rice catering to Chinese tastes, as well as bread, jam, and salads for Western guests.
Some front desk staff could speak Chinese, and the service staff assisted with luggage.
Compared to hotels closer to the beach, the location is a bit more secluded, and the surroundings seemed somewhat undeveloped. However, it's not too far from the beach. Considering its affordable price, everything the hotel offered was already excellent and commendable. If I have the chance in the future, I would like to stay here again.
LluvtripWhen we checked in they gave us an ”upgrade” but when we entered the room it had a queen bed plus a bunk bed, we had booked one king bed. The room we booked also had a sofa and more space as it didnt have a bunk bed. So we ended up with a bed we didn't need and less space. The staff didn't explain us about the change and we arrived tired and just noticed the bed was queen and not king after sleeping on it the first night.
The pool is very cold and it doesn't get any sun, so don't expect to use it. Besides they closed it after our first day stay, during new years high season!!!
There was a loud drilling noise starting at 9 am!!! It was a renovation inside the hotel. Again during high season. Why would they do that at 9 am??
The breakfast closes at 10am, I think it might be a bit early for some single and couples. We usually wake up early but after new years we woke up late and almost lost the breakfast. 10:30 would be ideal I guess.
The beach beds are a joke, the hotel has only 3! It's impossible to get it, so you need to pay in cash to use other chairs on the beach. That would be ok if it was not a surprise! There us also no service at the beach, you need to order drinks and food inside the hotel.
The food was really good, the place was clean and the location is convenient. I think those were the highlights.
