Canada Place is a Vancouver landmark located in downtown Vancouver. Formerly a terminal for the Canadian Pacific Railway, construction began in 1983 and opened in 1986 as the Canadian Pavilion at the Vancouver World Expo. Designed by Eberhard Rudler, the building's distinctive design features five fiberglass sails atop a ship, resembling a sailing ship and bearing similarities to the Sydney Opera House. Within, the complex serves as a major cruise terminal for British Columbia's South Shore, departing from here for cruises to Alaska. As a vibrant tourist destination integrating leisure, experiences, and services, it boasts numerous must-see attractions. "Flyover Canada," Canada's only 4D flight simulator, offers visitors an immersive experience of flying across Canada.Canada · Vancouver

Old Quebec

143 reviews
Old Quebec is a historic district in North America that retains its complete city walls. It was founded by French explorer Samuel de Champlain in the early 17th century and was once the capital of New France. The old city is divided into the Upper Town and Basse-Ville, and is still surrounded by fortifications such as walls, bastions, and gates. The Upper Town is situated on the high ground of Cap Diamant, with the Château Frontenac standing at its peak as a landmark of the old city. The Dufferin Terrace, located right next to the castle, offers sweeping views of the magnificent St Lawrence River. Basse-Ville is built along the river and centers around Place Royale, where the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church is located. The old city is home to numerous churches and convents, with stone houses, copper roofs, and French-style facades creating a unified and unique streetscape. The Upper Town and Basse-Ville are connected by a cable car, or you can walk between them along the Breakneck Stairs, experiencing the legacy of centuries of French colonial culture on the uneven cobblestone streets.Canada · Quebec City

Old Montreal

249 reviews
Old Montreal is one of the best-preserved historic districts in North America. Founded in 1642 by French settlers along the banks of the St. Lawrence River, it was designated a historic district by Quebec Province in 1964. Cobblestone streets wind through stone buildings dating from the 17th to 19th centuries, where French colonial and Victorian-era architecture stand side by side, making you feel as if you have wandered into an old European city. Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, Place d'Armes, Place Jacques-Cartier, and Saint-Paul Street West form the core sightseeing axis of the old city, where churches, squares, and ancient streets appear in turn. The Old Port area along the river has been transformed into a waterfront leisure zone, where walking paths, cruise boats, and riverside views blend the historic district with modern vitality. This is also a representative district for experiencing the blend of Montreal's English and French cultures, where the architectural fabric left by the French colonial era coexists with remnants of British municipal-style architecture, creating a neighborhood with a rare combination of historical depth and vibrant local life in a North American city.Canada · Montreal

University of Toronto

574 reviews
University of Toronto was founded in 1827 and is a well-known public research university in Canada. The St. George campus is the main campus and has no walls, blending into downtown Toronto's neighborhoods. The campus features century-old Romanesque revival buildings alongside modernist new structures, and the contrast between old and new creates a unique charm. Entering the campus and crossing the open green leads to the main building of University College, a mid-19th-century Romanesque revival structure that is one of the campus's iconic views, with its heavy stone exterior and arched doors and windows conveying the solemn dignity of a classical university. On the side of the lawn, Hart House is another classic building, housing reading rooms, galleries, and student activity spaces, and its Gothic revival style is worth a close look. The campus is dotted with sculptures and green spaces, and it is common to see students in small groups discussing or relaxing on the lawn, creating a strong academic atmosphere. Strolling across the campus along King's College Circle to the Hart House lawn offers a concentrated way to appreciate the campus scenery shaped by generations of interwoven architecture.Canada · Toronto

Parliament Hill is located on the south bank of the Ottawa River atParliament Hill, a Gothic Revival architectural complex consisting of the Centre Block, East Block, West Block, and the Library of Parliament. Construction began in 1859 and was largely completed by 1876. A fire in 1916 destroyed the Centre Block, and the rebuilt Peace Tower was completed in 1927 to commemorate Canadians who sacrificed their lives in World War I. The towering clock tower is now a prominent landmark on the Ottawa skyline. The daily Changing of the Guard ceremony and light shows in the summer add a sense of historical depth and modern vitality to this famous Canadian landmark. The Centennial Flame, the open plaza, the towering Peace Tower, the lifelike sculptures, and the Parliament buildings, which are open to the public, attract visitors from all over the world year-round.Canada · Ottawa
Columbia Icefield

Columbia Icefield

4.8/5
210 reviews
The Columbia Ice Sheet is the largest ice sheet remnant in the world outside the Arctic Circle. Because the ice layer of the glacier is extremely dense, sunlight cannot be refracted, and it will show a crystal clear blue light, which is very magnificent under the clear sky. From this, the melting snow flows to the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Sea respectively, which is a natural treasure formed after four glacial ages. The glacier is a snow track that slides from the bottom of the ice sheet to the slope due to the extrusion of gravity. It carries relatively heavy materials such as ice, snow and rocks, so the flow rate is very slow. The seven-kilometer-long Athabasca Glacier moves only about seven meters a year, so it may take hundreds or even thousands of years for snow and ice to flow from the ice sheet to the lower end of the glacier. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to take a helicopter overlooking this huge glacier that has lasted for 10,000 years. Or take a specially designed "Ice Explorer" all-terrain tour bus to set foot on the six-kilometer-long Athabasca Glacier (Athabasca Glacier) for a panoramic view of the swamp.Canada · Improvement District No. 9

Quartier Petit Champlain

4.3/5
66 reviews
Quartier Petit Champlain is the birthplace of Old Quebec and is often considered one of the oldest commercial streets in North America. The street is narrow and paved with cobblestones, lined with stone cottages. Historically, fishermen, dockworkers, and shipbuilders lived here for generations, while today it is filled with rows of small handicraft and souvenir shops, as well as galleries and restaurants. Many shops are run by local artists and artisans, and strolling through it, you can easily feel as if you are in a small European town. There are many noteworthy details on the street. The massive murals painted on the building gables use trompe-l'œil techniques to depict the fires, landslides, and wars that this district has experienced. The Breakneck Stairs at one end connect to the Upper Town, and the platform in the middle of the stairs is a viewpoint for overlooking the entire street.Canada · Quebec City

Gastown is located in the northeast corner of downtown Vancouver and is the city's birthplace. The city's development here was closely linked to late 19th-century port trade and railway construction, and the neighborhood retains many historic buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Buildings along the street are mostly brick and stone, with common Victorian Italianate and Edwardian commercial architecture. Facades are typically narrow and tall, with shops often occupying the ground floor. Street paving, cast-iron decorative lamps, brick buildings, and street-facing shop windows together create a recognizable urban view.Canada · Vancouver

Thousand Islands

133 reviews
Thousand Islandslie at the outlet where Lake Ontario flows into the St Lawrence River, stretching dozens of km downstream from the Kingston area, with over 1,800 islands of various sizes scattered across the river, belonging to both Canada and the United States. The islands vary greatly in size: the smallest are just a few rocks that remain above water year-round, and some are even small enough to hold only a single house, while the larger ones feature villages and farmland; there is also an interesting local standard for what constitutes an island—a piece of land that remains above water year-round and can support 2 trees counts as an "island." These islands are scattered across the St Lawrence River like stars, resembling a fairytale wonderland.Canada · Leeds and Grenville United Counties

Strolling beneath the white sail-shaped roofs of Canada Place, I felt like I was sailing in the harbor! The five-sail building reflecting the shimmering waters of the bay was so stunning that I couldn't help but snap a dozen photos from different angles. Walking along the wooden walkway, watching seaplanes take off and land and seagulls fight over fries was truly captivating. I also stopped by the FlyOver Canada experience center, where the 4D flight simulator over the snow-capped mountains was incredibly realistic! The evening sun painted the harbor a molten hue. I sat on the steps, munching on ice cream and watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, lost in thought for an hour. My only complaint was the strong wind that tangled my hair—but that's Vancouver's effortless charm, huh?

The University of Toronto is in a good location, adjacent to the bustling city center, and life is extremely convenient; the buildings on campus are antique and quaint. Of course, the most important thing is that it is still a top university in the world [like it]

The second time I took my family there, I felt that Skywalk was similar to many in China, so I didn’t buy a package ticket. But I didn’t pay attention when I was riding the bus, and I went there for free. I felt like I had made a good deal.

Located in the old town of Quebec, near the cruise ship terminal, you can walk down the stairs or spend a little money to take the cable car down. Petit Champlain Street is not long and is built along the mountain, but there are many shops, especially restaurants and bars. The road is still paved. A bit French!
